The hour will come and the pendulum will swing the other way. We can wait however long it takes, but in the end Kosovo-Metohija will always be ours.

""If Kosovo doesn't get a fair shake, if Kosovo starts looking like it's not really independent, this would easily awaken the sleeping giant of pan-Albanianism, and that would be very harmful to Macedonia and Serbia," Serwer said. "

What does this joker mean when he says "start looking"???

Kosovo is anything but independent, and will never be.

I actually welcome the albanians to show their true faces, PLEASE start talking about Pan-albanism as we all know that you want and we will all se how long EU and NATO will support you.

A hint, You will be abandoned quicker than Dubya have left the white house!

Please do us all the favor and show your real intentions, you are not satisfied with stealing Kosovo, you will go after FYROM and Montenegro as quick as you can

for naive albanian kids it feels good to read about the "sleeping giant of pan-albanism" ...but every sound Albanian knows that the albanian power-sphere is quite limited.

if the foreign troops withdrew tomorrow, this illegal puppet entity wouldn´t last for a week.

but not even their help will prevent Serbia of re-integrating its southern province.

the sleeping giant is in reality more of a retarded baby-boy, to make it clearer even for the dreamers here...

While successfull Lobbyists keep a low profile, the K-Albanians announce it via megaphone. They do no lobbying but talk about it.

Maybe You (K-Albo and allies) should take some lessons from "Mr.Harvard" Jeremic..

Ha! George Soros is a joke. You may as well invite Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell too. - Cimbo

My dear friend, maybe one day Michael Jordan or Tom Cruise will support us on lobbying just like Bjork did…who knows? The matter is that how much effective they will be. And to “Peggy”, we ARE independent, we are FREE because we feel the freedom but getting the recognition from other states is another case. Lobbying for your country is never too much. Today all states around the world are doing this…

Ha! Ha! Nice effort but i tell you this will not bear fruit because majority of all countries in the world still believed in international law and order.Kosovo will be just like Taiwan & North Cyprus a FLOATING STATE. Kosovo will not be a UN Member!! Kosovo is Serbia!!

Dear B92,
Thank you for responding to my inquiry. However, for the sake of impartial and fair reporting I don't agree that a public media institution such as B-92 should interfere with political scene nor missrepresentations.

Allow me to thank you again for clerafying your stance on articles published and editorial influence.

The U.S. and Germany could only muster a mere 40 odd countries to recognize their 'frankencountry'. . . what makes these jokers think that they have any influence to increase that number?

We keep reading time and time again from the Albanian posters that Kosovo IS independent and recognized, so why all this lobbying?

Terms like you lost Kosovo and used every day.
C'mon Albanians, is Kosovo recognized or not? Have you managed to pull off this heist successfully or are the cops at your heels now?

Serwer said Belgrade must stop agitating for Kosovo's partition along ethnic lines, or risk provoking minority Albanians in south Serbia and Macedonia, both of whom followed Kosovo in rebelling.

"If Kosovo doesn't get a fair shake, if Kosovo starts looking like it's not really independent, this would easily awaken the sleeping giant of pan-Albanianism, and that would be very harmful to Macedonia and Serbia," Serwer said.

This is why Kosova will be a great country.

Time and time again I read some Albanians posters complaining about B92s unfairness of news reporting.
First of all,
I don’t think that B92 should explain anything to them. Or anyone else.
And second but not least,
When Albanian or Kosovo Albanian news agencies start reporting fair and balanced news. Only then and then, Albanians should have the right to complain.
Until then, cry me a river of tears!

my dear albanian friends, to be honest, I don´t see that Tsunami at all...

Dear B-92,
I am dissappointed at your reporting on this article as you imply that Mr. Shllaku reffered to Kosova as a province. I did study the text on his original interview and nowhere I found the word province. So please, as the only open minded media left in Serbia, I suggest you don't impose or imply someone else's position to another's opinion.
It is bad for region, it is bad for your readers and it is bad for you.
Thank you.

Shllaku said "that the group’s objective would not be to convince state institutions to recognize Kosovo’s independence, but to conduct specific activities with civil society and influential individuals from countries that had still not recognized the province’s unilateral independence, in order to pave the way for government institutions in those countries to recognize the new state. "

I seem to recall prior to February 17 that Thaci confidently stated he had this "list of 100 countries" that would immediately recognize Kosovo's UDD. Nearly 5 months into this we find that around 40 have recognized and now there needs to be a Soros funded organization to help Kosovo officials beg for further recognition. Well, I guess this is what happens when you try to bypass the red light by cutting through the gas station.

B92

pre 15 godina

Dear Burim,

Mr. Shllaku's words were not direct quotes.

In this, as in some other cases, the gist of his statement was reported, while the phrasing remains either ours or the news agency's.

Regards,
