Burin, it's true that UNSC can reconfigure UNMIK but not to Serbia's detrement. Russia and China will see to that.
Any recofiguration will have to be OK with Serbia first so before you call anyone a "drunk Irishman" do examine this one more time, and this time pay attention to what is being said.

Here in US we have a saying "Drunk as an Irishman". I always despised the saying for being a sterotype. However Niall O'doherty, our "irishman" whose country recognized Kosova's statehood, does exactly to attest the saying true. He blabbers that reconfiguration is on Serbia's terms, the exact opposite of what he was claiming just two weeks ago (June 23rd) that "only UN SC reconfigures the UNMIK".

Girls,

I hate to P on your parade but its reconfiguration on Serbia's terms. Read what the 'flamboyant' Mr Jeremic had to say, especially in his trip to Spain.

More and more, every day, the Snake finds himself more sidelined. N Kosmet and the enclaves are practically already under Belgrade's control with tacit UN recognition of the Serb Assembly. Serbia along with Russia and China continues to block Pristina's attempt to legitimise itself while EULEX if it ever will be introduced, will be as I said on Belgrade's terms and any dealing with the south, Belgrade will simply by-pass Sejdiu.

Tadic was bemoaning the illegality of UNMIK's reconfiguration, that was before Jeremic struck the deal isolating Pristina even further.

Belgrade takes what it wants (at the moment) N.Kosmet and enclaves including Trepca mines. Meanwhile the EU picks up the bill plus 2 million angry and impoverished Albanians

Thats how it starts. First agree to UNMIK reconfiguration despite SC of UN approval. Second; make a statement about Kosova's recognition. Third; Recognize Kosova.

Reminds me of Bulgaria, Czeck Republic, Poland, Croatia etc.

"Jeremić said that Slovakia and Serbia had the same position over Kosovo, which, he said, would always be an integral part of Serbia."

it´s like music to my ears!

and what´s best: Slovakia is just ONE supporter of international law. there are two thirds of the world sharing that standpoint!

by the way: my dear albanian friends..., I still expect the big "wave" every moment... :)

It 's always funny reading about the declaration of the flamboyant Vuk regarding Kosovo-Eu and Unmik.
The main thing is quite clear here in Italy ...the majority of Eu countries have recognized kosovo, the bigger ones have recognized Kosovo, the main country (Germany) has recognized Kosovo so...
If Serbia would like to join the club (dreams now-reality maybe in 10 yrs) what will be obliged to do Serbia ?..
It's obvious ...recognize Kosovo...

"Slovakia supports UN reconfiguration"

I am confused! The “pundit” with international notoriety in the international law Tadic said that the reconfiguration is ILLEGAL.

Slovakia is “supporting” the international law- hence it should be against the reconfiguration. Or maybe this is the presentation of the ground for a U turn in Slovakian “understanding” of the international law?
