A very important question that seems not to have an answer.

How do you expect to bypass Resolution 1244?
Kosovo and the Titanic have one thing in common. Both were not build well and the makers of Titanic boasted how even God could not sink her. I have read comments here from Albanian camp how not even God can change anything in Kosovo.

Well my Albanian friends, an iceberg sunk the Titanic and Resolution 1244 is the iceberg whcih is going to sink Kosovo.

Hello!!(Mark (Shqype), Your points mentioned seems will happen only in dreams. takenote that a UN membership is very important and that will NOT happen in kosovo as long as majority of countries still believed in resolution 1244 and with the backing of russia and china. Also even EU will not recognized kosovo as long as Spain,Portugal, Cyprus, Romania & Slovakia supports the same resolution. This is the reality folks!! Serbia will not give up the fight (for kosovo)at any price.

Kosovo becoming UN member? You might as well wish for the moon in the light of vetoes from the Kremlin and Beijing!

Serbia better look towards Europe than wasting time with a DONE DEAl which is Kosovo.
Just for your knowledge; Europe means a continent with no borders which they have accomplished the west part of it. Remember there was a war between Germans and French and today you have no borders there.Thats what we in Balkans have to aim to accomplish.
Regarding Serbia owning Kosovo thats based on myths and RTS propaganda. 92% living in Kosovo are Albanians and they have been tehre before Serbs got there in 7&8th centuries. Just get on with it or hope to fight everyone and ruin whatever is left which is not much, and all of it was ruined on the same mentality that you are expressingit now

I think Kosovo is even too much soft with its reactions about new government of Serbia. Who can forget all crimes, harm and damages done by serbian regimes leaded that time by SPS?
People, here are done most terrible crimes since WWII and whoever expects big changes in Serbia with only some cosmetic interventions is wrong.
Serbia should ask forgiveness from all ex-Yu countries and only than we can think and expect reconsiliation. SPS can not be part of this, simply it is so deep in crimes done in Kosovo and allover ex-Yu...

The good relations with BG that Sejdiu and Thaci hope to achieve can certainly come about, but only if they take the first step and give up claims to controling parts of Kosovo they have no authority over.

Recognize the Serb Assembly irregardless of its perceived authority. Accept the division of the region into Serb and Albanian sectors as real, de facto, and for the time being irreversible. Allow for the unconditional return of all IDPs to all areas of Kosovo Province. Doing all of these may certainly not make Serbia recognize Kosovo's independence, but it can go a far way in diffusing imminent tensions. Besides, with the exception of the IDP return, all above factors are already in motion, so Pristina might as well accept the realities instead of thinking they are still the only legitimate "authority" in the region.

Thankfully, Belgrade (Serbia) has relatively little say in world affairs and international law.

It is important to have a stable Serbia for the Balkan region, but even without it Kosova will still work on improving the democracy of its country.

Regardless of whether or not Kosova presently has a seat in the UN, it is still independent from Serbia and is the newest European country. It will gain a seat in the Council of Europe and other European and World organizations, eventually gaining its UN seat.

once Kosova gains a seat at the UN, will you FINALLY accept that Kosova is an independent country?

To all the serbian friends that are getting very excited with their comments:

You can either believe the talk or the reality.

Talk is that they should be arrested , because you think somehow they are criminals for fighting for their country and people, (that includes Kosovar Serbs by the way).

The reality is that they live in their own country now and serbia cant touch them.

Well...Mr Thaci is still living in cuckoo land! Kosovo doe not have to work with Serbia because it is part of Serbia. The worl has not been taken in by the Kosovo UDI, with only 22% of the worlds countries recognising the theft of Kosovo from Serbia....and not one single recognition since the false constitution came to effect. It's not looking good for our Albanian friends and their pipe dreams. Kosovo is still Serbian...78% of the world recognise this fact. Thaci...we don't need to have better relations with war criminals.

Mr. Thaci & Mr. Sejdiu, The fight for Kosovo is not over yet. Kosovo will not win a UN seat therefore it is not a state at all. A DS lead goverment in belgrade would somehow "slow" things up and put this issue in the back burner. but majority of serbs will not sell their kosovo for any price tag.

Dissecting what Sejdiu told.

1) "Sejdiu said that it was in Serbia’s fundamental interests to give up on the approach to the Kosovo issue that it has adopted thus far, and turn towards its real priority, which, according to Sejdiu, was joining the European family."

Serbia's fundamental interest is to jail criminals who declare a bogus country and try to run it. This is a common practice. If that "country" is run by drugsters, mobsters, pimps and Quetzalcoatl (organ-traders) than these crimes are an extra weight and extra years.

Regardless, who is in the government, the interest is the same. The differences are, how to achieve the same thing. In some people's opinion, DS has more ammunition than SRS and in some it's the other way. Close cooperation with EU and traditional allies is the same thing.

2) "“That way the respect for European principles and the integration process will be affirmed, and it will also lead to a relaxation of relations in the region,” the Kosovo president surmised."

President of what? Of Republic Quetzalcoatlia? Sorry, B92: the only legal president of Kosovo is Boris Tadic. Apropos, "European principles" - it's funny to hear the president of Quetzalcoatl cult to speak about any other "principle" than how to offer human sacrifices to Pigeon-Snake God and support organ trade.

3) "Commenting on the new government, Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci said that the future of Kosovo no longer depended on changes within the government in Belgrade."

I was under impression, the PM of Kosovo is Mr. Cvetković. Hashim Thaci is the president of Quetzalcoatl-cult, he is the "Snake" part of the Pigeon-Snake deity. We know, who is the pigeon.

4) “Kosovo has a clear vision for its foreign policies, and that is integration into NATO and the European Union,” Thaci said.
Probably, it will become soon the permanent member of UN SC and later of the Galactic Empire. If "snake" has any dream of "independence" - her better read this:

i.e. chose a trade partner Dick Cheney, Halliburton and the rest of the neo-con mafia does not approve and you are in a big doo-doo.

5) “We have built great relations with Macedonia, Albania and Montenegro"

Ask the majority of Montenegrins and Macedonians regarding what did the Snake-Pigeon mafia "built".

Haven't these two learned anything yet? They are fugitives as far as Belgrade is concerned. They are terrorists. Why do they think that Belgrade are even listening to what they have to say. Belgrade are already holding two of their ilk in custody due to drug smuggling, yet you don't here Thaci trying to bail them out.

Pristina are in trouble and by the looks of it, it will only get worse in September.
