"So do not blame Mr. Prime Minister Cvetković or the US for the lose of Kosovo!!!
(George - USA, 7 July 2008 17:11)"

George...you are talking nonsense! If the US wanted to keep Yugoslavia together, why did it support Croatian independence, Bosnian independence, Slovenian independence, et al? Montenegro were not forced to become independent - they had a referendum and (only just) decided to split from a close union with Serbia.

Please do not come on here with your ignorant views about how the Us tried to prevent Yugoslavia from splitting up. The US is probably one of the most gutless nations in the world, driven by their greed to have a hand in all of the weaker countries with promises of financial aid in return for mega rebuilding contracts.

Thank God that Serbia is sticking up for itself and sticking two fingers to the Us and most of Europe...

I was not for this government. But now when it is in place we must support it. But also watch it closely. Any signs of giving up on Kosovo and the government goes. Instantly!

If we measure this government by the number of ministers, this government will surely succeed ( snark). I think only Kenya got Serbia beaten when it come to this "important" measurement. Wasting people’s money to keep parties happy. Dumb.

My opinion on Mr. Cvetkovic is that he can do many good things for Serbia... or he will just become another senseless Tadic and western puppet.

There is no doubt he will do nothing to help us with Kosovo.. he only added that detail in but he doesn't care about Kosovo. However he could at least help us economically because he is this big economist who worked with the World Bank which would then in turn make us more ready to handle Kosovo since we would be more economically stable.

It also sickens me that the DS got the Ministry For Kosovo. Why didn't that go to the Socialists I do not get it? Dacic is a Kosovo Serb who cares more for Kosovo than anyone of his colleagues in the other parties.

In any case Serbia needs to become more economically stable and in doing so we could take back Kosovo easily and peacefully.. so as much as I didn't like the outcome of the cabinet talks.. I truly hope Mr. Cvetkovic leads Serbia to a better future.

Serbian Ally, The US was not the one that "mastermind" this Kosovo UDI, It was Vojislav Koštunica. Koštunica is the one how did not want to negotiate with the Albanians and he made it Imposable to negotiate for the static of Kosovo, He already put the static of Kosovo in the Serbian Constitution. The New Constitution gave the Albanian less then they had before Milosevic, and also made the Serbian league the only official league. That forced the US and most EU countries to go with UDI. The real story is that the EU and the US did not like Kosovo to be Independent; they fought hard to keep Yugoslavia together so it would be a federation of Serbia, Montenegro, and Kosovo. But Koštunica did not like that idea, and he forced Montenegro to declare independents so Kosovo would be part of Serbia (in name only) in the UN. Known that real negotiation was imposable the US and the most EU countries went with the UDI, because Russia threatened to use their Veto in the UN.

So do not blame Mr. Prime Minister Cvetković or the US for the lose of Kosovo!!!

"One of the first lawmaking initiatives will be the energy arrangement with the Russian Federation, while the priorities of the government will include improved relations with the United States and Serbia's continued diplomatic activity, he said."

Mr. PM Cvetković, Why do you seek to have better relation with the US?? where in fact it is the US who "mastermind" this Kosovo UDI and leading the "pressure" to all states to recognize this UDI. It seems you people (DS) are abandoning the fight for kosovo.
