The dinar's value against the euro has increased by 4.4 percent over the last month thanks to a restrictive monetary policy, says the National Bank of Serbia (NBS).

It used to be that membership of the EU was a “privilege” that countries had to “deserve.” How things have changed. The EU is now desperate for Serbia to join.
Before making a decision on EU membership, Serbians should consider the word of the great American philosopher, Groucho Marx:

Even though tightening monetary policy can potentially stunt growth, a strong dinar can only help the economy. As long as we can continue to be stable, Serbia will only get better economically and increase its integration into the EU. EU membership will help feed the people of serbia and help tackle the illegal declaration of kosovo.
