"No mention of corruption in coalition deal"

The favorite pre-election promise of Serbian politicians to tackle corruption is not mentioned in the SPS-Democratic Party (DS) coalition agreement.

I see so this mutated coalition of Pro-Market Capitalists, Socialists, Monarchists, Hungarians, Muslims, Liberals, Conservatives and Separatists do not mention fighting corruption? interesting.

I truly hope this mutated coalition lasts its full mandate for the sake of a stable Serbia.

Although I have a hard time trying to fathom how a 10+ party coalition will bring stability to Serbia.

It was the Radicals who used fighting corruption as the main policy not DS or SPS. The radicals hammered this message which was aimed at the corruption of DS/G17 these past few years.

DS election campaign used so much rhetoric that one cant be blamed for not knowing what they promised (They copied the radicals late in their campaign with fighting corruption) but mostly they promised jobs, they have been promising jobs since 2001. They have only delivered unemployment and false hope to non-DS party member that one day they will be employed. The 2001 claim that Serbia will be importing Labour has never come to fruit.

SPS were always campaigning for a social just Serbia. We will see if any of these promises eventuate from this machiavellian coalition.
