Charges altered in Albanian terror plot

Terrorism charges have been dropped against 5 of a total 18 suspects on trial for criminal association against Montenegro’s constitutional order.

I remain curiously uninformed by this article.

Nowhere in this article does it inform us whether any of the 5 suspects who have had their charges lowered are american citizens.

I have the impression that this is the case as the article does go on at some length about these US citizens and the 'close interests' by certain members of congress.

If it is the case that US citizens are getting preferential treatement solely because they are US citizens, wouldn't that make it a case of clearly intefering in the judicial affairs of another state, quite a serious offence as the crime is that of terrorism?

Of course the US says embassy nothing as it is an embarrassment to them. US citizens as terrorists? No, never. Anyone else it's Gitmo for you!
