It is really respectable how this tiny country has and is still doing well in really difficult surrounding. Calm, wise and integrating for every entity. Serbia should learn from Montenegro how it shoud deal with minorities.
Awkward Kosovo politicians should not announce "what Montenegro will do".
There is absolutely no need for an unconsiderated overhasted recognition of Kosovo. I do also think that Montenegro can have a better impact on the region not (yet) recognizing Kosovo and brotherly advise Serbia to act rational, patiently and think of mistakes made in the past.

..untill then: Enjoy montenegrian beauty...

EA, I will thank you not to put words in my mouth.
Where in my comment did I say WITH ME OR AGAINST ME?

Actually, it is America who uses that term. You are either with us or against us.
Serbia has made no such comment when it comes to Montenegro and I certainly haven't, so it is not helpful to twist my words at all, but then I suppose there is not much else you can do. You certainly cannot punch holes in what I said so you have to resort to twisting words.

By now countries have declared whether they will regognoze Kosovo or not. Montenegro is playing a game and it's time they put their cards on the table.
How you read something else into it is beyond me.

Peggy,

I loved what your wrote especially

"Oh Montenegro, enough already.
We all know you are going to recognize Kosovo so stop with all this teasing.

You are not important enough to keep everyone on their toes."

BUT that doesn't mean

that Montenegro will do as they are told by your Western masters so stop pretending that you have not decided."

Do you think it is fair to say "WITH ME OR AGAINST ME" in politics?

It's the Serbians that want further negotiations and have already offered the Albanians self-rule. What exactly is your point?

Difference between Montenegro and Serbia is that Serbia was playing nice with albanians-while Montenegrins took them for what they are, and cut them where it hurts. Now if albanians even think about "uck" they are in jail.
Serbia has to learn from it`s mistakes.

Lola, I must say you have a very friendly attitude towards the albanians. You don't mind the albanians living in kosovo as long as they are willing to turn into serbs. More and more you show us what would happen if we accepted to stay under Serbia.

Problem all along was that Albaniens don't want to be assimilated in Serbia no matter how hard Serbia tryed because they were waiting for a chance to devide Serbia by lies and manipulation.

Interesting comment!
“Problem all along was that Albaniens don't want to be assimilated in Serbia…” So it is true that Serbia want to assimilate Albanians in Serbia so since they don’t want to, Serbia decided to “escort” them to death and most of them out of Kosovo.
You see that some of you know what is going on and not wasting time on “Kosovo is Serbia” because everyone knows that it is not true.

Where on earth do they get these people?
--
Roćen said that the security situation for Serbs in Kosovo could not be ensured without the Albanians, and that no-one could protect Serbian cultural and historical monuments in Kosovo like the Albanians could.
--
Yes, the Albanians have shown how well they can protect cultural and historical monuments in Kosovo. They tend to burn them to the ground. Here is a video of one such example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4c9b5OdgHo
--
You cannot constantly say ‘Kosovo is Serbia,’ and on the other hand ignore the Albanians living in Kosovo,” said the minister.

Want to know where your interests lie? Here, check this map http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2d/Montenegroetno03.png

There are 270,000 Montenegrans, 200,000 Serbians and 30,000 Albanians. Again, check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montenegro#Demographics

Referendums or the will of the people are no longer in fashion in this new world. This will change soon enough though.

This man is a joker. When Srbs say "Kosovo is Serbia" they never say exept Albaniens that live there. They all love to twist the truth in order to demonize the Srbs. You are not important enough to keep everyone on their toes. We know that you will do as you are told by your Western masters so stop pretending that you have not decided.

Just remember, when it's your turn to have the Albanian problem don't look to Serbia for support. You are about to sell out your brothers and all this time wasting is designed to convince Serbia that you tried but just had to do it in the end.

Just get it over and done with so we can move on. Your vote is not going to make any difference as you will be in the minority. Majority of the world will not cave in and will stand firm on what is legal.

It's ignorant to say that Albanians were waiting for a chance "to divide Serbia by lies and manipulation." In reality, the Albanians were waiting for a chance to BREAK FREE from Serbia, to enjoy their own right to self-determination in their ancient heartland just like the Old Serbia of Belgrade Pashalic had the right to self-determination instead of remaining a part of the Ottoman Empire.

I must say, I am very impressed with Montenegro's Foreign Minister Milan Rocen. He understands not only how delicate the situation is, but that Montenegro will act in its best interests. He also is knowledgable about the Albanian past of Kosova, and the fact that Albanians, throughout the centuries, safeguarded the Patriarchate of Peja.

"Medieval Serbian documents clearly indicate that the villages surrounding the Serbian monasteries were inhabited by Albanians, who contributed to their maintenance.110

It is now time to point out that these places of worship would have been destroyed in the course of years had it not been for the Albanians. It is to them that they owe their existence. For centuries, the guardians of these churches - the vojvods, as they are called - have always been Moslem Albanians, elected by the neighboring villages of these churches. There were times when the Albanians experienced bitter and inimical feelings in regard to the Serbs, especially following the Berlin Congress, when tens of thousands of their co-nationals inhabiting the regions ceded to Serbia and Montenegro were brutally driven out of their homes and forced to leave the region. There were also times, especially at the turn of the century, when the Albanians, disobeying the Turks, held sway in those territories, where they constituted over 90% of the population. It was thus in their power to reduce to ashes those places of worship. But they did not do so despite the fact that they were fighting the Serbs. This surprising attitude is due to the Albanian Code of Laws (the Code of Laws of Lek Dukagjini, rightly regarded as the bible of the North Albania), which penalizes those who do not show respect for churches even if they are not their own. Numerous were the vojvods killed while defending one or the other of these monasteries. Orthodox priests sent to their families letters of praise and gratitude."

It's heart warming to hear these nice words from Mr. Roćen.

You know, Albanians fought with Monenegrins for quite a long time too and it's a blessing that these two nations have finally come to closure with each other. Mr. Roćen speaks the reality.

Little Montenegro is in most difficult position and we Albanians understand that. We will hold no grudges against Montenegro, after all they are a friendly nation for us. It will be very unlikely that Serbs will do the same in case that Montenegro decides to go through with recognition.
