I have a much better suggestiong for the ambassador.

France can set an example by refusing CAP payments to its farmers until all the frenchmen involved in war crimes during the Algerian war of independence have been tried.

After all, aren't we all equal before the law? Or does it depend if one is already a member of the EU???

I wouldnt worry too much about being part of the EU if most British people had there way we would get out, thats why we are not allowed the vote. We have found no benifit to being in the EU, the only people to benifit are the Poles and other people who come to the UK.

Guys c’mon, French Ambassador doesn’t n want to have war criminal for neighbours.
War criminals should be handed over for the sake of Serbia children future as well.
Don’t shelter and hide those war criminals, they are the shame of Serbian people and are putting bad light and reputation to every ordinary Serb. You owe it to the next generation.

Mircea, have you ever been to Serbia?
If not, maybe now it is the right time!
In the future, you may find it prohibitively expensive for your pocket!

ZK UK, the EU is the only organization capable of saving Serbia from the mess it has gotten into. Now, this is no longer possible since the enlargement process is blocked. There is no "world of opportunity". The only way Serbia could have saved itself would have been if the country joined the EU. Now Serbia is lost.

This behaviour is quite natural. A baby bird that can't fly will come out of its nest and flap its wings wildly before it falls to the ground.

At the moment, the EU is flapping its wings but will soon realise that the Lisbon treaty is dead. The same thing happened when the constitution was rejected.

The door to enlargement is closed and it was never opened. At the moment, Ireland, Poland and the Czech Republic are uninterested in ratification.

Time for Serbia to move on and to stop wasting energy on dead-end carrots. There is a world of opportunity out there!

Well spoken Frenchman!
That means we are going to heve quietude of the disturbers for the next 200yrs. Kosovo will then still light by candles, while Serbs will be moaning they were not treated right ("duoble standards" etc.), vote radicals and believe time is working for them.

Serbia has no chance to join the EU soon. Not even Croatia which is advanced in the negotiation process will join unless the Lisbon Treaty comes into force. The people of Serbia can forget about joining the EU.
