Tadic is acting like he's already intoxicated with power, publicly assuring that his same coalition will also be running Beograd. What are signatures and agreements worth in Serbia if the SPS has already signed on with the DSS-SRS, yet Tadic is telling everyone to just wait and accept "his coalition" in Beograd. Are Tadic's "powers that be" so strong that everyone (Serbian voters) and everything else (democratic process) is irrelevant to him for the sake of power??? Wake up Serbia- don't go back to eras when you were lulled to sleep by ruthless politicians.

"I believe the government will have a full mandate, at the end of which we will be on the verge of EU membership."

"verge" - and there lies the truth at which point the electorate will be only too aware of the "indecent proposal" that has been put forth to Tadic by so called "friends of Serbiia". "Friends" such as Solano who sleeps well at night with no guilt for his crime in bombarding Serbia. http://www.b92.net/eng/news/comments.php?nav_id=49209 Tadic was only too willing to sign along the dotted line in signing up to the SAA which he knows the full implications of but pretends.

Fortunetly the Irish referenda has ensured Serbia the time to not be so easily snared - Serbia not be so ready to cooperate with EU in every way in such an indecent proposal! At least Tadic comprehedns that the next elections will be the real referndum jioning the EU and thee will be a very very clear choice - Serbia with Kosovo & Methojia (SRS DSS-NS) or Serbia without (D yeS to all demands and LDP). SRS and DSS-NS as the largest opposition parties will use this time effectively be it 4 months or 4 years.

One thing is certain to test Frankenstein in 12 months is that of the PUPS promise to its voters on pensions - Cvetkovic has already been lined up as the scaepgoat given his assurances that despite a real reduction of pensions this year (10% increase while inflation is 12% is a minimum 2% reduction in pensions) he assured the promise willl be possible next year - this is just a delaying tactic. http://xs4.b92.net/eng/news/business-article.php?yyyy=2008&mm=06&dd=24&nav_id=51366

Incidently also note that the last time there was a Cvetkovic as PM was just prior to the Second World War 2. That Cvetkovic willingly signed Yugoslavia to the Nazi regimes "Pact of Steel" and is noted for saying to Hitler after signing that Yugoslavia "...would be ready to cooperate with Germany in every way."

- just coincidence I guess that Tadic choose a Cvetkovic....but there is no way now just as was the case in 1941 that there will be coperation in "every way" with those who would wish to dictate.
