I'm sorry B92, it's obvious you can't attract better readers, only those xenophobic serbian nationalists opposed of albanian ones in the same manner.

american names are fake here! they're not interested to read a pro-governmental serbian media like B92.

@Princip: Enforced, mandatory voting is not very democratic.

- tell that to the democratic nations who do! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compulsory_voting

But I would say not using your vote - something that generations in many countries throughout the world struggled for is also quite disrepectful of that right! Beyond that just because the Netherlands stopped this in 1970 after doing so since 1917 does not mean it should not be considered democratic - on the contrary it could be that it is a very important "stage" of democracy !

Well said Mr President, not only do you have citizens of Kosova but democratic IC on your side aswell, tell Belgrad who's in charge today.

A so called kosovo republic will exist only in 43 states but in the UN, international law and majority of states / countries kosovo republic is a HOAX.

Mr. Sedjiu, you will either live in limbo forever or when your masters have had enough of this game they will TELL you to start serious negotiation with Belgrade again.

It is not and never will be up to you.

Sejdiu is right. There is no point discussing status with the Albanians for a number of reasons:

1. Independence is irreversibly blocked at the UN by both Russia and China. Therefore Kosovo will always legally remain Serbian.
2. Serbia offered the Albanians self-rule and they are getting it within their areas.
3. All loyal Serbian citizens of Kosovo have their own parliament and representatives linked to Belgrade.
4. It is pointless for Serbia to discuss status with the Albanians when their masters are pulling the strings.

Serbia and the international community just need to stand firm and be patient while the occupiers fail. Status will then be resolved naturally.

It is just a technical agreement that needs to be negotiated and from what I can see, this will take place shortly. We then return to the status quo with a functional partition and just wait for the occupiers to leave. This I expect will occur within the next 20 years.

If the Albanians want to believe in independence, then let them. That is what will keep them pacified for now with supervision. The Serbians and other non-Albanians will just continue to run their own affairs with Belgrade.

It's a done deal.

I agree with President on this one!
If Serbia after 1999 would offer partition that North of Ibar to join Serbia and the rest of Kosovo to get independence,I bet no to many people would object, now is different situation!
I think even Serbia is surprised that some of the past allies recognised independence of Kosovo!!!
Now they are asking for a functional partition, when they could do with this some time ago!
All this bad naming from our lovely neighbours is understanding, it is hard to except what is going and sometimes myself I can't believe that I lived this important moment for us Albanians!
I think that us Albanians wanted more Kosovo that Serbs!!!

Clearly Sediju must be happy with the autonomy that is evolving to provide self rule for the ethnic-Albanians in the patchwork regions within Serbia's province since he bases all his emphasis on a non-manadated non-sanctioned Ahtisaari plan. A plan that is being enforced on and only applies to the ethnic Albainas in Serbia's UN recognised province! Nothing more nothing less!

In the meantime Serbia's institutions gather pace re-integrating and providing reconcilation for all its citizens who recognise Serbia as the legitamate State they are in.

Interestiing to see the rush for the new passport and it would be worth cosidering applying the consititutional rule followed by Portugal who insist that ALL citizens vote in State elections!

Well This is not a surprised statement from Kosovo albanian separatist leader Fatmir Sejdiu. Of course everybody knows that the US, UK & EU elites PROMISED them a so called independence in exchange for using kosovo as a NATO satelite in the balkans and SOME OTHER THINGS. this is also the main reason why the talks earlier have failed due to west interference in the talks.
