"Unlike our neighbour to the north we don't harbour war criminals, nor criminals such as Miladin Kovacevic and his associates from Serbian Conculate in New York."

That's correct. . .you elect yours to public office. . .

Pejoni, why would a serbian citizen need a passport to travel to south Serbia??

Eagle,
I am quite sure that any serbian citizen won´t need a permission of the albanians to visit south serbia, atleast not nort of Ibar and the enclaves, don't you agree? I find it hard to belive that albanians will have controll over Kosovos borders, NATO yes, Serbia maybe in a few years, albanians No way, EU won´t let you

Samardzic is living his last days as a Serbian minister.

And by visting Serb-held areas in Kosovo in June 28, he is showing one just more time that Serbia still has a tremendous dificulty to separate nation-state from religion.

Kosova is an open country for all wish-well visitors. It will remain so until the new passports are issued and visa regime is in place. However, Kosova remains closed to (war)criminals, wish-harm visitors, and houligans.

Kosova has a parliament, prime minister, and government, unlike our neighbour to the north; Kosova may have not a strong army or none at all but it has trained, uniformed and armed personel (which you can call SFK, KPT, KPS or whatever).

Ahmed, Joe, Ben and other Albanian posters,

Do you realized yet how unreal and childish your posts were a while ago – “after June 15th everything will change – WAVE of recognitions, borders crossings procedures,
Mr. Samardzic - no way to enter Kosovo, strong Kosovo army – no UNMIK etc.”
And be objective and honest and admit that was just nationalistic wishes and enthusiasm.

For Serbian posters also -need to be realistic, and accept that wrong policy, both of pre-war and after war politicians were wrong and most of Kosovo is almost lost, get handle on parts you can control and get the best deal for the rest.

That means – reality check for everybody – real talks and negotiations in good faith should take place – otherwise everybody will lose – Serbia can handle status quo with no benefits – with K-Serbs left in limbo. Kosovo Albanians will benefit nothing – they didn’t get anything real except above-mentioned unreal expectations and childish wishes.

Srboslav,

Since Kosova is still in process of setting up the state laws and policies, i betcha that soon Samardzic wont be in Kosovo unless his visit request is approved by Kosovo authorities and you wont see MUP soon as Kosova Security Forces are established.. Thanks!

Nice gesture of Samardzic to participate in Vidovdan in Kosmet.
And to all albanian posters claiming the need for passport to visit Kosmet, NO he will not need a Visa and I am sure MUP vill take care of security!
