this is a positive step, as for carrots being danled then yes this is possible, but so what but dont you reward your kids when they do good work? It wont be long before more money starts coming in. Kosovo wont be an issue what the west wants is a stable Serbia. The Kosovo question is an irritation for the west and they will soon except a divided Kosovo. I notice no investments are going to the Albanians???

Any foriegn investment is positive investment, even if it is from the U.S. Foreign investments create more jobs and more jobs help the economy. With that said, i wonder how many foreign companies will invest in Kosovo, which will be handicapped for many years now thanks to the unilateral independence. At first, there will be an influx of money, but as the global reccesion continues, the west will realize that a kosovo that is handicapped will be a bad investment. Also more and more financial services (american (Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan) have begun out sourcing to guess where ? Eastern Europe, focusing on Romania, Hungary, and potentially Serbia. So please let us move forward and into the future, and benefit from foreign investment, we are too intelligent of a people to pass up! :)

This is not the first time our american friends have created jobs in serbia. There are many gainfully employed serbs today who get to enjoy american economic compassion and improve thier english at the same time (would you like fries with that, today is BigMac Friday, would you like to try our new fillet of fish Mcsandwich)

The current and temporary coalition of milosevic and tadic is truly a puppet show, and if you hate puppet shows the best thing to do is let them go on for awhile and let evrybody watch them. Eventually the people will become tired of the show and the puppets will be put into wooden boxes and stored in a dark place 4EVER.

enjoy the show, it will be a hoot while it lasts

150 new jobs and 7 million in investment!?!?! holy cow Munter is right we DO have a future!!! :O

*Sarcasm mode off*

150 new jobs and 7 million is absolutely nothing for a country and hardly news worthy. Maybe if it was in a little secluded village, sure why not. So what is it Munter does the US tell its investors to hold off investing in Serbia until they have their puppets in place? I thought the US was a purely capitalist economy with no government intervention whatsoever?

MMMM, I can smell some nice and juicy carrots coming Serbia's way. Too bad there are strings attached and one being recognition of Kosovo.

Just know that it aint gonna happen. Even though the government may be sell-outs, the people will never allow something like that to happen.

I suspect this to be tested some time in the near future.

That is good news for Serbia i am sure there are other investors who want to invest in Serbia, they are just waiting for a green light.
