PRN, the leader you are talking about only got like 5% of the votes, so don't count on him recognizing "Kosova" anytime soon. He will probably also be to busy managing his restaurants and splavovi in Belgrade in the future.

KV,

I understand that you are dissapoinited in that Samardzic havent been to Kosovo the last few days, but don't worry, he is probably only occupied with something.
He will be back soon, protected by MUP and without a VISA!

Stop this NONSENSE statement Mr. Hashim Thaci. You know that Serbia will not accept a so called republic of kosovo within its territory. YOUR OVER CONFIDENCE IS EVIDENT COZ YOUR UNCLE YANKEE IS IN YOUR SIDE.

Serbia have a warrant out for Thacis arrest. Why does he think that Belgrade want anything to do with him. This bloke is delusional at best.

It seems the last 24 hours have been utter hell for the KLA. The UN has refused to endorse the Ahtisaari plan because it never won support in the UNSC, Eulex now must be under the UN and follow the principles of Resolution 1244, which means no Ahtisaari plan. The UN will not recognise Kosovo as independant and no army will be formed.

Now it makes me laugh when I see statements from Thaci and no body Berisha about aspects of the Ahtisaari plan, which doesn't exist. Are they relly trying to pull the wool over the eyes of their constituants? I see bad times ahead for the KLA.

ZK,

Give us just one reason why on of the Berisha's statements are "rubbish" when comparing Northern Mitrovica with Medvegja, Bujanov and Preseva?

veki

He also said he hopes the European Union will help Priština implement this plan "and integrate Serbs in northern Kosovo", stressing that "territorial integrity of Kosovo is guaranteed by the international community".

Tachi, which part of 'NO' don't you understand?

Further, who cares what Berisha has to say?

You all are invited to come to Kosovo and see what stamp are you doing to get at the border, any of them. I bet you that you will never get the Serbian stamp.

try it and check that stamp - If you see there something about Kosovo republic there are two posibilities:
You are blind or they gave you fake stamp and you will be arrested at every BCP

> Thaci expressed hope that Belgrade will support Kosovo Serbs "in keeping with the Ahtisaari plan, and that it will not manipulate them".

Seems that Thaci hasn't heard the news.

Ahtisaari plan is dead.

Bravo Thaci.

You need to show that you can deal only with Deomocrats.

LPD Leader, a Serbian living legend, is the most appropriate face to deal with neighbourly relations. Moreover he is the only one that can guide Serbia towards recociliation with the Balkan neighbours.

Many do aticipate that Serbia within a short period of time will recognise the reality of Kosovo in 2 steps.

1. Acknowledge EULEX presenc
2. Soon after recognise Kosovo as an independent state

The whole process should take about 2 years to be completed...

Cheers

"The existing international borders of Kosovo must be respected in full, Berisha said."

How can be respected something which is not recognized as being worth of respect? I mean, Kosovo borders are recognized by those who recognized Kosovo... for others, they do no exist! meaning they are the (partially) the border of Serbia, isn't?

As for this quote:
"Kosovska Mitrovica and the north of Kosovo are not a unique case, [Berisha said], because there are at least three such places in Serbia, in the Preševo Valley, alluding to three multi-ethnic municipalities in the southern part of central Serbia inhabited by ethnic Albanians."

What should we understand: that Kosovo as whole is a special case, and Intl. laws should be somehow adjusted in order to accept it, but a part of Kosovo, having the same situation (a strong majority of population is refusing to live under control of other population) cannot be granted same rights.
Well, is it not a double standrad, or what?

Who writes all of this rubbish and why even publish such nonsense? It seems that B92 are scraping the barrel for news so they repeat fairy tales coming out of Pristina. Also, the Kosovo Serbs are loyal to the DSS/SRS so they are not going to sell Kosovo even if Tadic tries.
