Mesić: Croatia wants democratic Serbia

This is a person who “proudly” announced that he started and executed destruction of my birth country – Yugoslavia. He wants weak, smaller and poltronic SERBIA. - He with US support made me and my family refugees and attacked Yugoslav Army – (JNA) who tried to protect our country.
US used help of happy fascist left-overs in EU– losers from previous wars to fabricate history by telling that Serbian started the war in Yugoslavia – and need punishment and revenge for victories and sacrifices in WWI and WWII.
Again those forces pushing the world to the limit and probable new war and will be defeated again – just we don’t deserve it to suffer the most for the world justice and peace of future generations.

Mesic's statement contains so many phony arguments that it would be nearly impossible to any normal individual to try disentangle it.

Until then-they should take the orders from the masters and leave Serbia alone.

Mesic would have a good point in complaining about Serbia having rejected Kosovo's secession had most other countries in the world recognised it. But only 43 out of 192 UN members have.

Also trying to justify Kosovo's independence by claimning that it was "a constitutive element of the Yugoslav federation" is meaningless as it was recognised as being part of the FRY (Serbia being the successor state) by UNSC resolution 1244. Kosovo was part of Serbia before Yugoslavia existed.

THE Mesic that gave command for slaughtering thousands of Serbs living in Krajna and Slavonia (nowadays Croatia) who didn´t want to live in a fascist country ??? THE Mesic who still hasn´t brought Croatia into the EU (also because of the fascism ruling this "country") ?

I think that the main aim of Mesic’s speech is to force EU not to stop the enlargement process. The message is that EU should take him, Mesic now. He (a former nationalist) would repeat everything some powerful EU-states are saying. Otherwise EU will get “that those who would like to see the country return to isolation”. Mesic is also promoting himself at the cost of stability in Croatia, especially by his opinion about Croatians in Herzegovina.
What Mesic says about Serbia is exactly the same, some US-diplomats in the region are always repeating to Serbia. He even copies the arrogance of US-politicians speaking about Serbian political decisions, decisions of a state US politicians (and the president of Croatia) have no democratic legitimacy in. Austrian and German politicians at least try to hide the arrogance a little bit when speaking to Serbia.
Generally, it is in the best interests of Croatia and all Croatians to fight for their own long term interests and not accepting being instrument of today’s most powerful states. As time changes Croatia could get the instrument of not-powerful states. Being an instrument of not-powerful states is not profitable anymore.
But Mesic once said that Croatia won twice in WWII. First as Hitler ally, then as Hitler enemy and that there is nothing to be ashamed for. Croatia (this time with him as leading politician) first won by ethnic cleansing, then by joining EU. Perhaps he believes to win also the next time, when today powerful countries will lose. This is why an “average Serb” like me doesn’t like him.

Who are all you Serbs claiming that the Croatians authorities should return Serbian refugees. You showed your loyalty during the war by staying Kranja Srbska. The Serbs who stood in Croatia are allowed to stay because they didn't go over to the other side. And who are these people saying we should return these people who commited treason. I wish Croatia wasn't but Mesic, being the EU's puppet is allowoing them return.
Speedking about Mesic who is he to say that Croats from BiH have to have Saravajo as their capital. Only Croats within BiH can chose their own future. Everyone can see how much 'rights' they have in BiH.
