-- Hey Ataman --

I find it truly bizaare and odd how you can compare László Toroczkai to Vojislav Seselj who is the leader of Serbia's largest political party and who is in Hague for war crimes and brutal crimes agianst humanity -- Laszlo does not have major rallies and support from the people as much as Seselj does and does not have even a fraction of the political support!

From what you originally said you were comparing Fidesz to SRS -- that would be Viktor Orban to Seselj, Orban is respected by the European community and Seselj is sitting in a jail cell in Holland for crimes against humanity, these 2 are not comparable ??? Once again no Hungarian politician is in the Hague or wanted by any War crimes tribunal -- but can Serbia say the same ???

By the way I know who the mayor of Subotica is and before Geza it was Mr. Kassa.

I can say the same about LDPR, the party of Vladimir Zhirinovsky. No LDPR member is in Hague. It does not change much.

If you see two beings, both waddle like a duck and quack like a duck and walk towards the water. So what you would think, who they are?

Yikes. The "only" exception are the Jews, Roms (all the time) - but once in a while also Hungarians with other ethnic background. Jews and Roms are THE bogeyman on permanent basis. Besides, I am not convinced about FIDESZ denouncing Magyar Gárda in all seriousness. Besides, OV is not called "mini-duce" for nothing. I have enough experience to recognize certain patterns. "Duce" is a mild understatement. OV is a potential Stalin.

Here SRS is clearly in "disadvantage": they lack people of such "magnitude".

László Toroczkai did not come from Beograd.

Probably. By the way: the name of the current mayor of Subotica is Géza Kucsera, he is from same VMSZ Mr. Pásztor is the president of. Hardly to blame with "disrespect of other ethnic groups" - you probably just did not know, who is the current mayor.

Again - back to Toroczkai, this is the illustration, what I do mean. Very recently the ambassador of Israel to Belgrade was invited to Subotica - an act UNTHINKABLE if the city would be under László Toroczkai's HVIM control. It is a great, tolerant city. But: how come the local Hungarians were not busy to kick László Toroczkai out as he did show up? Subotica + HVIM should never mix.

Still not convinced? Look how Europeans and Americans who live in BP comment on Toroczkai being beaten by Serbs - they think, it's way to mild:

Fidesz and the SRS are not close at all, no member of the Fidesz party is in the Hague, but if I"m correct the official leader of the SRS(Vojislav Seselj) is in Hague for crimes against humanity, no member of Fidesz has ever threated any minority or nationality but many members of the SRS have made threatening comments to other ethnic groups !!!

Mr. Pasztor will do a fine job as mayor and will lead by example for the leadership in Beograd to follow on how to respect other ethnic groups.

The only radical parties in this region are the ones that come directly from Beograd.

Princip,

Ask Mr. Pásztor whom his alliance is with. Here I do not mean Serbia vs. Hungary - that is perfectly fine for someone with several ethnic backgrounds.

For Pásztor I am mightly confused: he is pro-DS in one country and seem for me to be pro-FIDESZ (populist, quasi-conservative, pretty close to SRS) in the other one.

Do citizens of Subotica want to have DS or practically FIDESZ? It's like fire and water at the same time. In general this seem for me a big problem of minorities. They are a natural ally of "moderate" parties in their home countries but at the same time natural allies of populist/radical parties in the country of their ancestors. Yikes, what a mess.
