Talks between the Democratic Party (DS) and the SPS over forming a new government should be over by the end of next week, says senior DS official Bojan Pajtić.

Serbia might be much smaller in 4 years time. It may turn that Belgrade and its surroundings is Serbia. You won't need so many parties, DS + SPS will be enough...

You will be disappointed. I think the next government will be at least as stable as the first DOS, perhaps more so. Remember once SPS are in they will not want out as they will not make the census otherwise. Same goes for the others.
Still a spell in opposition might finally give DSS a chance to reverse the damage and prevent them from becoming even smaller than LDP. Perhaps if Voja retires and Nikitovic is ousted there is a chance of picking up disaffected DS voters (in 4 years time).
So the SPS have repeatedly stated that they are not negotiating with the DS and they will not do so unless negotiations with the DSS officially end.
So who is trying to deceive whom here? Time will tell but I suspect the SPS could be digging its own grave by backstabing its entire voter base.
Otherwise, why don't they just announce negotiations with the DS? They know the Frankenstein coalition is completely unnatural and is only there to serve the EU/US.
I really do expect the people to rise against this abomination if it somehow becomes alive - beginning with the SPS supporter base - to express their disgust and then the patriots joining in as Frankenstein begins to die.
