SRS: Dačić has plumped for DS

Firstly lets give some respect to Nikolic. He has the courage to be truthful about a whole host of subjects including the disappointing SRS result. This is the kind of political responsibility not usually seen in Serbia and is a good thing.

Secondly we were always going to find out from Toma first who will form the government. If he says it will be the DS coalition its more or less a done deal.

Thirdly I'd say to Toma not to be hard on himself - that he worked hard and did his best for SRS. His campaign was not as negative as DSS or DS. If anybody is to blame for the result it is Seselj, as Nikolic is suggesting, and if this is the first move away from Seselj from Nikolic, I say go for it.

One month ago I have made up my mind that I shall live this site if another CIA Government is formed in Serbia. Very likely it's gonna happen in a couple of days. Those 3 months that I now and then dropped here I believed that someone needed my private moral support. Now I can see that I overestimated Serbian will for independence and the revenge for how they have been treated in the decade.

If it still happens you will suddenly find yourselves in one camp with Solana , Allbright , Snake , the Clintons , Haradinai , Ruecker and such visitors to B92 as Ben , Ahmed ,Luiji , EA ect. If it is your choice I can only wish you good luck you were lacking all those years.

But after many years when you find yourselves still knocking at the closed EU doors you will remember that way down in 2008 there was another choice you have missed. You will remember that in Serbia there were people who offered another route but they failed to obtain your support. The most outstanding of them was (is) TOMISLAV NIKOLIC !!!

This is my first comment in about 2 months, and it will be my last (please don't shed any crocidile tears for me). I held out some hope that Serbia would be free of the one world government currently headed by the US (soon to be headed by a German lead EU Empire), but it is not to be. The DS lead government has been a disaster for Serbia and yet it continues on, this time with the SPS. What could have made Slobo's party side with the devil is beyond me. Serbia as a free & independent nation is no more, further divisions of Serbia are now certian. Your standard of living will drop (the very reason many voted for the yellows). Eight years of this government and is your economic situation better now? You have bought the pretty fairy tales (like joining the Union anytime soon) the so called pro-European side has chanted over & over, your bed is made, time to sleep in it.

even in the darkest night there is a understanding that a golden dawn will come again so never despair with politics and politicians - that is what they all specialise in - all talk and more often then not little to show for.

Beyond that till there is Official public statements that a DS-G17-SPO-LSV-SDP, SPS-PUPS-JS, & minority parties of Hungarian and Sanjak Bosniac coalitions this just remains talk and ittle else especially when its "unofficial".

Way I see it there has been a rationalisation of Serbian politics and a maturing of democracy - that in many ways is a very positive light to look forward to!

- no matter how politics in Serbia pan out you know that the Serbs thank the Russians for always being there be it the past, present or future and the Serbs know the strength of the Russian bond and owe much for it.

It is what I have mention for ages. Kostunica is neither nationalist, as likes to be portrayed, nor is he a democrat. He is a war-lover, not because he likes it, but because of attention politicians get from it like celebrities from scandals. And he as in Milosevic era likes to be a “celebrity” with Kalashnikov. He like the fame the distraction brings that’s why he “pushed” the socialist away from a done deal coalition just because he has not the radical promise to be next PM. He just wants to draw attention as long as he is PM. And he wants that chair badly.
He is definitely bad for Serbia and bad for region.

When it comes to a deeper analisys we should ask ourselves if the behavior of Kostunica was just a chain of fatal misakes or deliberate provocations to fall SRS ... I wonder :

1. Was it so needed to stress that much upon the SAA issue during the campaign when it is evident that The US cannot force the EU members to have any legal position over the region ? As I know Nikolic was less worried about it for EU bueroctrats can only make statements but not solve problems !

2. How could it happen that the DSS-SPS talks led to nothing ? When he failed to come to mutual understanding with the Sicialists why didn't Kostunica pass the negotiating initiative to SRS ?

3. How such an experienced politician as Kostunica definitely is could break the Government without coordinating it with the SRS as the most likely ally and Moscow as the only Serbian hope for justice ?

4. Why did Kostunica take a neutral position during the Presidentials ? Could Nikolic win if supported by DSS ?

5. Now that it's evident that stressing upon Kosovo was a strategic mistake which led to votes' loses why don't they both DSS and SRS declare that they they will respect the will of the Serbs if a special referendum SAA or Kosovo is conducted or if all EU members accept the SAA ?

Many people will put other questions and ask themselves if Kostunica was a Troyan Horse of was honestly mistaken ...

Yes I know that but common people vote for those politicians. For the first time in their recent history Serbs had a real choice and they proved themselves at a total loss ... They voted as if they were going to drink water and whistle at the time. So I can see Ukrainisation of the Serbian political life.

I know that even among those who voted against Russia there are many people who are really friendly to us. Yet they voted against Serbia for the EU door is closed for good and it dissapointed me.

I am not pleased with the Russia's position in Serbian matters too. It could be much more agressive especially before the elections. Yesterday in the main news "ВРЕМЯ" program over 1 Channel the Snake was called a murderer to put on good a suit. Who cares it now !

Russia did absolutely nothing to help Nikolic win while we all know that he is the man we can trust most in Serbia. We cannot be always semi-pregnant and decide either we support pro-Russian forces here or remain neutral ! Though dissapointed I am optimistic that sooner or later we shall be strategic partners in every branch.
