A suspected Croat Nazi war criminal has been found watching his country play football at the Euro 2008, the Daily Mail says.

Austria remains defiant when it comes to Nazi War criminals. The international community should not stand for it and order Austria to give up these pathetic animals or face the harshest sanctions,.. OH WAIT!!! I forgot, this is Austria and not Serbia, Austria can get away with this sort of thing.

Unfortunately war criminals are still safe in Austria, which hasn't prosecuted any nazis or others for war crimes in the last 30 years.
The joys of being in the EU no doubt allow immunity from prosecution. Add to that those responsible for crimes in Spain under Franco, Portugal under Salazar, France under Petain etc. etc.
People like Tomislav Mercep remain free in Croatia, but having a powerful backer (Germany) makes all the difference... Justice my hat.
