++It's NATO's LAST STAND and it's going to fail. Kosovo will eventually be back to square one, after years of aid and military rule

Last stand? US, Germany, France, England, Turkey and the entire West will eat Russia and China for breakfast. Not that China is about to attack their $$ lifeline (No west = No China) and Russians do not dare do anything other than bark.

To clear this up once and for all!

To all those Albanians who think they have achieved a stolen territory from Serbia - WAKE UP!

And to all those Serbs that are fretting and think Kosovo has been lost! WAKE UP!

This is the stand off between US/Europe and Russia/China. Make no mistake poor old Kosovo is going to suffer hugely. It's ALL about energy and political power. It's NATO's LAST STAND and it's going to fail.

Kosovo will eventually be back to square one, after years of aid and military rule. After all the riots the burning of churches, the terror and military conflict - NOTHING WILL CHANGE!

Finally to you who live in the Balkans - remember - the enemy is always from outside!!!!

No compromise Mr. Ban!! Please stick with the UN Charter as you are mandated to take the lead in defending the charter and not to sacrifice it due to this so called new reality on the ground in the province of Kosovo as defined by the occupiers / invaders (US/EU).

“The secretary-general’s letter specifies that police forces in northern Kosovo would stay as they are now, and that everything would remain as it is to a great extent,“ explains the British journalist.

He adds that Ban’s letter is a proposal for everyone to pretend to view the current situation in Kosovo to their own liking.

Kosovo leaders would pretend that they controlled the whole territory of Kosovo, whereas, in fact, they’d only control the Albanian parts. Serbia, meanwhile, could continue to pretend that Kosovo was not independent, even though the majority actually is. The essence of much of the vagueness is in everyone being allowed to continue to pretend to see things as they want,“ says Judah. "

ie. de facto partition with all parties free to pretend otherwise

"albania with nuclear power, no one can tuch us any more.
(Alban, 14 June 2008 23:16)"

oh jesus, that was great!

thank you Alban for making my day! I will go to bed now, but even if it´s so late now, I will have a smile on my face, and that´s because of your fantasy! THANK YOU! :)

ps: better don´t dream of nuclear weapons, since a few months ago down in Albania the army was not capable of storing their conventional ammo properly it seems! and as a result of that quite professional conduct, they lost some lives for nothing...

those poor souls could have earned some bucks, cleaning boots for the US-occupyiers...

Alban, are you serious? Do you really expect to get nukes?
Who do you think is going to allow to have nuclear weapons?

The whole point of NATO trying to make sure that you have your "independence" is so they can keep an eye on you, not for you to be armed with nukes.

I cannot believe I read something this ridiculous. Now I've heard it all.

Alban

Jovan.
as soon as the occupying troops are gone, we will see how "independent" they really are... :) they will be quite disappointed, I guess.
***** all you have to do is guess. Thats why NATO will Train and Arm Kosovo's forces, will be like izrael, albania with nuclear power, no one can tuch us any more.

What will happen after 15th June. In a word nothing. Ban's proposal will only make the partition of Kosovo more likely. Serbs in the north will be given even more justification to protect their areas, bulid parrell institutions and partition Kosovo. In Pristina and the other Albanian parts EULEX will come in and make them an independent Kosovo!!

ban has onle made the partition of Kosovo easier for the Albanians and Serbs.

The only thing that can ber said is further instability in the balkans, the illeagal partition of a legitimate state, the creation of a puppet NATO Kosovo, and finally the death of the UN and international law!! What a sad day for world order!!!

Ban ki-moon's wisdom as Salomon's justice:
(1 Kings 3:16-28)
"24 Then the king said, "Bring me a sword." So they brought a sword for the king. 25 He then gave an order: "Cut the living child in two and give half to one and half to the other.""
Who will say: "Please, my lord, give her the living baby! Don't kill him!"?

Aleks

Ban has already jumped off the 'tightrope' in the direction of the EU & US with his 'agreement' to authorize EULAX (EU Laxitive).

He's just sealed his fate as a one term UN Secretary General and further ripped the guts out of the UN, adding to the damage that the West has done to it since 1989 in wantonly ignoring or 'reinterpreting' UNSC resolutions.

The irony here is that in future the West will try to use the UN against China, Russia and other states, but it will have no meaning now the West has so thoroughly undermined it. Et tu Brute.

Jovan,

Better "vassal" of the West than real vassal of Serbia. I hope you understand that. Secondly the foreign troops will stay in Kosova as long as it is needed. I personally believe until Kosova is ready to join EU.
See you in EU or good luck with Russia)))

As stated before the whole question of Kosovo is a political move to get Muslims onside, we are already seeing stronger language on Iran. Once Kosovo has served its purpose it will be returned to Serbia. NATO has far more pressing matters with Iraq and the Afgan situation. It will also be a blow for NATO that the VS are withdrawing co-operation, its time too pull out our British troops from Kosovo so thay can be used else where. Jovan made some good points.

This really does describe Serbia's offer of more than autonomy but less than independence with the defacto partition in place.

Serbia does not have control over large portions of Kosovo but neither is it independent. Albanian self-rule is part of the offer so this is within the norm.

Kosovo is occupied territory and that much is acknowledged although the Albanains seem to have difficulties coming to terms with their pretend entity and status.

Jovan

pre 15 godina

Mr. Judah is right, but only partly.

there´s no doubt, that Kosovo, or to be more precise, those parts being under control of the occupying KFOR-forces are not under serbian control at the moment. nevertheless, all of it is serbian territory, and Mr.Judah has lost sight of that fact, it seems.

of course the Albanians call it "independence", but in reality they are seen as the vassal´s of the western masters, who in reality control virtually everything.

as soon as the occupying troops are gone, we will see how "independent" they really are... :)

they will be quite disappointed, I guess.
