This time I agree with Joe who probably already knows, how certain areas in Budapest and the entire Silicon Valley in USA look like. In retrospect, the entire Serb-Albanian conflict over Kosovo could be in 50 years pretty irrelevant.

Just a correction, 5 000 out of over 2 000 000 people is not even close to one percent, what do they mean by 1,5%? In any case, something like this shows that some people of the Balkans are still thinking in terms of the mid-20th Century. Maybe a solution to that would be Balkan super-state with no differentiation between ethnic groups, just call them Balkanians or something, hehe.

I think the Montenegrins should know better and follow the lead of the Serbs (right back to their barbed wired enclosures). The Kosovo Albanians have proved since 1999 that they are incapable of treating minorities with any sort of dignity or respect.

Well anonymous that is not correct math. But neither is 102 seats in parliament the majority.. but B92 and the DS have a mathematic system that is much different than the Metric or Standard system.. where numbers are inflated and the and 102 out of 250 means victory.

"President of the Association of Kosovo Montenegrins Slobodan Vujičić said that in talks with Montenegrin Foreign Minister Milan Roćen he had stressed that the omission of 5,000 (1.5 percent of the population) Montenegrins from the constitution was “unjust” and that the problem could be solved through an amendment."

B92,im not good in maths but im quite sure that 5'000 people can't 1.5% of the population in a country with 2'000'000 inhabitans,

Wait, judging from many comments that were made here in this past week i thought serbs are the same as montenegrins, no? I must of misread? If so, then why do we have to represent the same minority twice?

Don't worry Tony. If the Chinese follow your example in 40 years time they will be the majority of the population. The albanians will be the minority and as such will get better deal under their new constitution...

There are also about 800 Chinese living in Kosova right now, we should recognize them as a minority and give them 10 seats in Kosova parliament because that what Ahtisari plan says right, as it seems is better to be a minority in Kosova then majority, what a world.

Albanians complain about lack of recognition in whatever country they live in, why shouldn't minorities in Kosovo? If Kosovo wants to be a country, then they have to acknowledge and give representation to all minorities. That is called democracy.
