Albanians are like a child throwing tantrums in the sueprmarket. I want it, I want it now.
While all eyes are on the parent to see how they will react, the situation is quite tense.

Albanians are hoping that the parent will be worn down and will give in just to get this situation over and done with, but most of the people looking on are hoping that the parent gives the tantrum throwing child a firm NO or even a smack.

Nobody likes these outbursts. That's why most of the world is not on Albania's side and hopes that the silly minor authorities are given their orders to back off.

Now our secretary gneral is bound by the SC and is not a law unto himself. This is the only authority worth taking any notice of.

We can't have an over zealous policeman (US), taking action against the parent when he will lose in court.

relax, funcakes and all the other k-albanians...

Mr. Ban-Ki Moon is under american pressure, nobody will really wonder about that...

but in the end, the serbian primeminister is right, only the UNSC has the legitimate right to change something in regard to the foreign-presence in the southern-serbian province.

everything else would be against 1244.

Daniel has put it quite right: this time Russia is there, and a lot of other countries like China or Brasil... and I would not make the mistake to compare them to some pacific micro-islands..if I were an Albanian.

those chess-games can´t change the reality. Kosovo is an integral part of the serbian state. and if everything else fails, Serbia has all the right to take care of it.

Now the West is using 1244 to embarass Serbia even further.

Since Serbia likes 1244 so much, then everything the West does...it says that it does not breach 1244.

Serbia says otherwise, but it has no power to enforce that viewpoint. Therefore, embarassing itself even more on the world stage.

We told you this would happen but you didn't want to believe it. Why is Kostunica so hellbent on embarassing himself and his country with such claims that the world just brushes off with maximum tranquility?

Dear all,

B92 reports: "Koštunica condemns Ban proposal"

By the way I lost count on how many things Koštunica and his army of muppets are condemning.

Have such condemnation changed/halted anything thus far??

The answer is NO.

We got independence, flag, anthem, soon constitution.

Koštunica again talks about Serbia's constitution this way "...deployment of the EULEX mission ...an act that jeopardized sovereignty, territorial integrity and Serbia’s constitutional order..."

Serbia constitution???

...Let me reminding you that the constition of Kosovo just 2 days away before coming into effect. That overlooks the Serbia's balum-balum constitution...

And as I said in the other thread (the other day)...as far as our constitution is concerned, I can honestly tell you that our constitution is by far more realistic than that of Serbia's.

In our constitution we claim to have control on all the parts of Kosovo, and we do have our (police, and soon army) forces in the entire region, collect taxes, have border checks, have different IDs, passport etc...

In Serbia's constitution you claim throughout sovereignty when most of UNSC openly oppossed you soverignty over Kosovo, (by recognising Kosovo,)you have no police or army forces in Kosovo, collect no taxes etc...all in all to me Serbia's constitution really looks more of a balum-balum constitution...(where lines are so easy to change/draw...

Have fun with such constitution

Peace to all

Cheers

What's happening now is the EU is going forward, enlisting Ban, who from all accounts doesn't seem to want to be bothered by the Kosovo issue. Now, we are left with a pending confrontation in the Serb dominated areas of the province. This is how the west works; it thrives on inevitability, going forward with its initiatives and placing the burden on oponents to reply. The West, with its economic power knows that Serbia cannot stand out forever. Thus, it will continue to force the issue so that if Serbia reacts, Serbia will go banckrupt finanacially, and then look like the bad guy if it intervenes militarily. Thanks to Russia, though, this approach is not working this time around. Kosovo Albanians are powerless to do anything, and the west is not interested in military confrontations. Thus what will be is a partition of Kosovo and a place no sane person will ever visit.

It's good to see the real protectors of Serbia, Koštunica and the DSS, standing up and fighting for our cause while the DS and their "Sell Serbia to the EU" coalition have no interest whatsoever.

The plan of the DS is to go through the motions of pretending to protect Kosovo but instead following the EU plan as it unfolds into independence. In the end they would say "Oh well, we tried but failed".

Stand your ground DSS and don't let those fakes sell Serbia!
