France to encourage SAA application

It looks like the Irish have rejected the Lisbon treaty so time to move onto plan C - whatever that may be.

Quite simply, it doesn't look like existing members have the appetite for new members and that should give the DSS a nice boost and further justification to stand firm and reject the SAA.

Kosovo is far more important than membership negotiations with an EU that doesn't even have the capability to accept new members. Only fools would want to join a club where the door is closed.

Well done Ireland! You made the choice most of Europe wanted. Just to be clear, I don't have too many problems with the concept of the EU but when it is run by power hungry law breaking dictators then it becomes problematic.

Thanks to Irish vote, the SAA with Serbia is not only illegal, it is just a piece of paper signed by EU to support the DS coalition before elections...and nothing more. Kosovo was exchanged by them against that!! A shame. SRS/DSS/SPS move on!!
