111 charged over Macedonia vote violence

10% of Albanians in Macedonia will only vote with rifles... they don't know any other form of communication. Unfortunately they represent they rest of us and restrict our progress and well being.

That's not true.The division has been caused by Thaci and
his boss Gruevski.The've managed to divide the Albanians and rule over them with an iron hand.The macedonian police has been actively involved in the election fraud-see comments by the interior minister-but the blame goes to the Albanians.

The police that were involved were all employed under the Ohrid agreement, all albanians. Dont blame the macedonians for the violence.
As for ilirija all albanians refer to, last time I saw an ancient map of ilirija, that land was located in present day bosnia, croatia and dalmatia. These are roman maps of the balkans.
Using albanian logic, I believe all Macedonians should live in one country, which would mean all the occupied teritories by greece and bulgaria should be part of Macedonia, eastern turkey where large Macedonian communities exist, south eastern Australia, great lakes of USA and Canada.
Greater albania, like greater serbia ideas a crazy. HUman rights and equal opportunity is what is really important. That is something the albanians no longer have in kosovo and as long as there is albanians with guns in Macedonia they probably wont have it in Macedonia either. Macedonian constitution following the Ohrid agreement explicitly states albanian rights in Macedonia, only albanians can now take away those rights.

Your thought processes are scary, now the Macedonians are to blame for Albanians killing each other?? yes we Macedonians are so powerful.. we rule the poor Albanians with an iron fist.. sounds like to me that Albanians would like to replicate the Kosovo scenario..?

Did you notice what happened to Serbia after ethnic nationalism became their main philosophy? Right, why do you think NATO would allow the Albanians the same thing they denied the Serbians? Illyria, Dardania, whatever, this does not exist and if the Albanians do push for it, they will be the ones receiving depleted uranium shells, cruise missiles and guided bombs.

BTW Kosovo was not recognized by the West as something that should "rightfully" be given to the Albanians, there were strict conditions which the Albanians were expected to follow, none of them included giving Albanians their "rightful" lands back.

I would like to salute all the hones, hard-working Macedonian Albanians, who came out and voted in the elections, despite the danger of bodily harm and worse. Many Macedonians do not understand how much harder it is for the Macedonian Albanians to exercise their human and constitutional right to freely choose their representatives. But do not be discouraged, most thinking people in Macedonia understand and know that most Macedonian Albanians are honest, hard-working, friendly people who have the same problems and daily worries like us, mostly about daily survival to which the past criminals-politicians have lowered us by stealing and abusing anything that was worth something in the country, and artificially keeping the Macedonian citizens in poverty and isolation.

Do not fall prey to nationalistic rhetoric from both sides. Macedonians and Albanians have lived peacefully together in Macedonia for thousands of years. Nationalistic rhetoric from both Macedonian and Albanian politicians in Macedonia is just a smoke screen to prevent you from seeing how those same politicians have robbed the country and its people, regardless of ethnicity, of everything and keep on sucking the blood of the working people. Criminals know no ethnicity. They are criminals. That's their nationality.
