Kostunica is the most honorable politician in Serbia but he must realize that there is more than one way to skin a cat.Form the majority government and agree to disagree on the SAA issue and allow each one of the 250 members of the Serbian Parliament to vote his conscience. It is in Serbia's interest to adopt first world standards in all areas of its society especially in the economic sphere. When the vote on the SAA comes up the speaker of the Serbian Parliament should announce to the whole world that every single yes vote comes with the understanding that Kosovo is an inalienable part of Serbia and that Serbia will never want full EU membership if it means that recognition of Kosovo's UDI will ever become a condition for Serbia's membership. In the meantime a free trade/free visa agreement should be negotiated between Serbia and the EU and Russia. There is no false choice to be made because consumers in all markets buy products based on quality and price and not political considerations.Notice Russians driving BMWs and Mercedes and not Zastavas.Serbia lies in the heart of Europe and always will no matter what some morons say.

I am impressed with the English translation of this website. Perhaps, it is the best English in the some Balkans news pages that I have seen. Congratulations! Some of the comments that are allowed to be shown on this website are a bit outragious I think, but overall sure that this website flies the flag...

It still sounds to me like the DSS are still in control because they are still standing firm and not moving on the SAA.

I believe options will always remain open even if the SPS decided to negotiate with the DS and the "Sell Serbia to EU" coalition.

With the mishmash of opposing political parties within that Frankenstein creation, I suspect that coming to any kind of agreement about anything is going to be extremely complicated.

It may be a good thing afterall to see how disfunctional the pro-EU camp really is.

Stand your ground DSS. You are on the right path!
