Shem,

1) It's to early to say anything. A sought-after fugitive is expected to produce multiple ID-s and tell some stories.
2) In USA we have dozens of people being put on the death row by mistake and some were executed by mistake.

Luckily there is no death penalty in Europe anymore and (officially) it can't happen anymore. But police screw-up is common.

Did you ever heard of Mór Massacre in Hungary? The thing went as far as some Serbian War Criminals being accused.

Here is the short story from the Wikipedia - that was the most violent crime in Hungary during peace times ever:

The police acted very unprofessionally.

Surprisingly(?) at one point even some "Serbian war criminal" was suspected (yea... these Serbs multiply themself so quickly and can be blamed even if a cat meows loudly)

I do not want to say anything what I suspect about Hungarian prison guards, but this looks interesting (Hungary has no death penalty anymore):

This is just a sample that don't be quick with the judgement. In USA four innocent people would be on the death row already and the police would look after an unspecified mysterious Serb war criminal.

shem, you clearly do not know much about the world if you think that those are the worst crimes since ww2. Far worse crimes have occurred all over the world. Some 200,000 dead, out of a population of 600,000 in East Timor. The genocide in Cambodia. The current situation in Darfur. Rwanda outweighs them all. There are so many more. All over latin america there have been mini-genocides. Or in africa... the lord's army in I think it is uganda? The things that happened in Bosnia were rather small compared to the countless numbers of awful things in the world. Go get educated. Learn some geography and release yourself of that hatred that has engulfed you.

Well, to be honest - I was surprised to listen yesterday that MUP arrested a Serbian war crimes fugitive of such a senior rank!! It's a game of Serbia, pretending to show to the world that is doing some efforts in bringing in front og the justice those who committed the bloodiest crimes ever after WWII. Gentelmen, this is Serbia today!
