We ‘want” EULEX because that is a part of compromise and we didn’t have other choice, whereas K-Serbs have it.

That’s what we thought too, we detested UNMIK shortly after we realized they not going to solve any problems of after war Kosovo society, but we detested “Serbia” much, much, much more, and definitely much less evil UNMIK, than the first one.
UNMIK by the fact that is composed by ‘officials’ coming from all around the world who have their families to worry about, get their salaries for less work done possible, carrier pursuit goals and rivalry among them (after all normal individuals who mind their own business and interests) they could NOT CARE LESS for how Albanians and Serbs live or whoever else, if they did they would’ve done much more long time ago to reconcile and integrate everyone in Kosovo, which obviously failed miserably. This is between US and only WE can resolve it and I don’t know how much time and everyday sufferings of normal people will continue before the stubborn and backward mentality will vanish and everybody finally wakes up.

KV, that's a good point, and I agree. However, it workd both ways: don't the Albanians also want their own police to be bossed around by EULEX?

alba whoever internationals will come and reconcile you even your big brother bush its impossible because your hatred against each other is too deep. this is manifested by the slightest thing in language like erasing serbian names in signs on the road. albanian patriotism is the main factor here not UNMIK or EU or OSCE.

Regardless of our differences (to put it kindely) in Kosovo and who it should belong to I was surprised over the lack of criticism on the EU and UNMIK from the albanian posters.
It comes to no surprize to anyone that serbs are very sceptical to foreigners ruling Kosovo (again to put it kindely) But the K-albanians non critizism surprised me alot
I have seen very sceptical views on EU, UNMIK and even Thaci on albanian forums, but never here.
Are all albanians here so thankful to the "west" that they don't realize that the "west" don't do anything for them, but rather themselves? Only this poster ALBA here seems to have understood the big picture, regardless of if we have the same opinion or not I agree with ALBA on this
