New parliament holds first session

As much as I am not a fan of the pro Tadic camp... I truly hope that if a coalition is formed with the SPS that it runs out its full mandate for sake of stability.

However I'll call it that the SPS will not make parliament next elections because their voters for the elections on May 11th (including me, my first time being eligible for voting) will be divided between the SRS, DSS, and a small minority of the SPS electorate will go to the DS... thus signifying the end of the SPS.

Good job SPS.. joining the DS is political suicide because most of your electorate including me did not vote for a government with the DS.

Its actually the instability of such possible coalitions as a D yeS to all that EUSSRope demands with SPS-PUPS-JS (plus also essential either or both of Bosniak list Sanjak and Hungarian minorities) and the long and drawn out talks in forming any such government that puts of foreign investors. Ironically DS (Double Standards) fail to comprehend this simple concept and set unrealistic targets of EU candidate in 6 months time while ignoring the fact that no government has been formed!

Even if talks between SRS-DSS-NS and SPS-PUPS-JS are 'paused' today the alternative talks with DS-G17--LSV-SDA-SPO plus Bosniac list for Sanjak or Hungarian minorities (or both) are likly to create quite a series of contradictory issues. Its possible SPS-PUPS-JS will still be quite unceratin until they have gone through this process and then analyse all the pros and cons of both options SRS-DSS-NS or all 7 other parties that are too many to mention again!

SRS-DSS-NS will be wise to keep the door open and let SPS-PUPS-JS see the complexity of the alternative choice in such discussions that may start in the next few days. How long such talks with 10 parties will progress is anyones guess !!

I can imagine the way the hedge funds have been placed concerning EU member candidacy - at least that seems a sure investment!!!

If new elections end up being called then I guess a possible new alternative coalition list to be formed might be 'For Europe with Kosovo' since one group seem to have hijacked the false perception that EU progression is all about them and through no other party which is a lie!

I think a coalition list under this banner would have been extremely successful and would have created the real picture and option for the Serbian electorates !
