Tadić said that an agreement on a future together is possible only if both parties "forget about the past".

Does this mean that he will forget also his late leader Mr. Djindjic just to remain in power? Where is the famous Serbian saying "Forgive but not forget"?!

Enjoy your pupet government.

It seems to me that someone has not the hard to do what Serbs decided. SPS seems to be afraid to acomplish Serb peoples will for a radical-nationalistic government. Straight declarations, friend and foe can count on come only from the radicals.
Tasic´s stand-by policy is not appealing. I have the feeling that Serbia is needing a radical government to hit bottom rock definitely. "..forget the past" and repression of it will cause psychosis Mr. Tadic. Instead Serbia needs to work up recent History

Couldn't agree more Princip. Tadic's frankenstein coalition is looking quite diverse.

We have social democrats (DS), capitalists (G17), self declared monarchists (SPO), separatist parties (LSV) and now possibly socialists (SPS). Tadic is really getting desperate isn't he? All for Europe....

This still does not hide the clear friction within DS given former DS PM Zivkovic who recently stated;
http://www.b92.net/eng/news/in_focus.php?id=268&start=45&nav_id=50629

"The former prime minister also expected “some younger people who voted for the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) will realize that Europe is the future, and they will change sides.” "

& rounded off with;

"He said that during Zoran Đinđić’s leadership of the DS, there had never been “any such stupid idea as to form a government with the SPS.” "

- with such anti-SPS sentiment from senior DS memebers one need talk little of the friction from G17- let alone Canak, Draskovic or Hungarian minority groups in such a coalition. Of course that is the clear intention as stated by Zivkovic a coalition that is an unstable coalition that runs for no more then a year but time enough to grab the "younger" socialist vote!!!

The question is will SPS drink from the DS poison chalice ? One way or other this week sees govt formation!
