first to Rick´s little mistake:

Albo´s right on this, there were other codifications much earlier, Hammurabi is just one of them, and often mentioned as the first one, but that´s also not quite true.

but nevertheless, the serbian Zakonik, is a codification that can be mentioned on the same level as those others, from a scientific standpoint.

those who know something about legal-history would tell you that, too.

but this is not about legal history, it´s about todays law, international law... which is being violated by the K-albanian seperatists...

and some western countries, too.

but international law will prevail.

>> And how can a country who has a such a long history as Serbia dating back to Czar Dusan's "Code of Laws" (which the European laws were based on) ignore legalities?

DON'T flatter yourself, and I mean it. Tsar Dusan was pretty late in tha. Think of Greece, Hammurabi, Magna Carta...Justinian,

What a stupid statement by Dukic-Dejanovic- "No legal analysis should be allowed to hinder those measures that Serbia so badly requires". How "badly" does Serbia need to be fooled???And how can a country who has a such a long history as Serbia dating back to Czar Dusan's "Code of Laws" (which the European laws were based on) ignore legalities? Is Serbia willing to "sell it's soul" just for the "promises" of the EU? Serbia (as well as any country) should enter the EU with a clear picture of their future, not just "promises" which can be changed tomorrow by those in charge. Without a proper legal understanding of what Serbia is "getting into", our country will be playing right in the "master's" hands of deceit.
