Michael Thomas if my memory serves me correctly some 'patriotic' posters here it was not possible for JS to 'peel off' as I put it their mandates.

That was not my belief and it seems that nobody in SPS is contradicting my belief either.

Its amazing that some views posted here are more radical / uncompromising than much of the Serbian electorate, including many parties involved.

The coalitions have already submitted their lists of who gets what seat to the Electoral Commission already and while the SPS is the bigger partner in the agreement I do not think it can do anything to remove the JS from their seats once those seats have been allocated. Keep in mind that there's no way in hell the JS would do this unless they knew that they''d be able to successfully pull it off. Also their remarks about the signing of the SAA do fit with what I recall from their election campaign which was pro-business. At any rate it looks like its going to be a very interesting weekend in Belgrade.

The question we need an answer to is this: What are the terms of the pre-election agreement between the United Serbia (JS) Party and the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS)?

I understand that in a future parliament the JS will be given 3 seats. But what happens if the JS break with their coalition partners, SPS and PUPS? Do they keep their 3 seats?

The SPS leader, Ivica Dačić, has said that if JS leave his coalition, then they lose their 3 seats. Is this true?

If Dačić is correct, then it does not matter JS thinks or does. The SPS will be the King-makers.

Does anyone know what the agreement between JS and the SPS says on this vital question?

It seems like another election is in making, since Serbian politicians are in desarray.More money to be spent, some will get reach and majority of ordinary citizens in Serbia will get poorer. Way to go.

How about new elections then? And I recommend that the SPS drop these losers from their coalition. That way, JS can get swallowed up and spit out by DS.
