I think Serbia should train/exercise different types of walk-outs at home, making it more spectacular.

You talking about integrity but you seem to forget about the Bosnian integrity, Croatian integrity, Kosova integrity, Slovenian integrity; which all were disrespected and violated in every way by Serbia. There is nothing wrong with walking out, especially in Kosovar perspective. One last walk-out that Serbia has to do is to walk out of Kosova once and for all.

I recommend to Serbian politicians to not go at all to such international summits and conferences. Kosovo is independent state and their reactions of this form are only waste of their time and money. They can stay in Serbia and enjoy in collective ignorance of this fact - Kosovo is independent...

Minister Loncar left the meeting..wow..Everyone learns as long as one lives, you too mr. minister of education...Kosovo is an independent state and if you continue to leave the meetings, very soon you will find yourself meeting only your office secretary.

There will be more and more conferencies, meetings ,sessions in UN... where politicians like Zoran Lončar will have to leave because Kosovo will be represented as an independent state. Serbia already left without ambasadors in more than 40 countries because of childish reaction to something that was unpreventable : Kosova becoming indenpendent state.
I am just afraid that in years to come Kosovo will have to represent Serbia's interests in those states, since there will be no Serbian politician to do that! One thing is for sure: Don't count on me!!

All major European Countries have made it very clear what their position on Kosovo is, it has been explained and stated in numerous ways and on many occasions, What else do they need to say that will make Serbia understand that its their final decision on this!

Why attend meetings when you know that Kosovo will be represented by its leaders and it will be referred to as an Independent Country?

I can’t see the logic behind spending the tax payer’s money to attend these meetings when you very well know what will happen and that you will walk out.

Stay home and protest and stop disrupting the meetings that bring together nations who are forward thinking and wish to promote and develop better lives for their citizens.

Maybe he thought that as he got up to walk out that everyone would beg him to stay and that they would kick the Kosovo delegation out! There's no shame in walking out if you see that other countries disrespect your territorial boundaries during any conferences. Serbia will continue to fight for Kosovo

Well done! Now it is up to the EU if they want to invite illegal albanians to meetings or if they will respect international law and have Serbia present at meetings. Serbia is playing her part perfectly, now it is up to the EU to show it's true (brown) colors.

How mature.

For those of you who don't know, Kosovo has had a representative adressing the UN for the past 3 years. It doesn't really matter that on their name tag doesn't say republic of Kosovo. All it matters is that they are present at all these key organizations and things are going really well for the people of Kosovo. The problem with Serbia is that they don't fight for the people but for the territory. You never hear them complain about the rights of Serbs or Minorities or Albanians in Kosovo. You always hear them complain for territory. Had Serbia treated Kosovo Albanians and minorities of Kosovo the way Kosovo is treating minorities, it wouldn't come to Kosovo being independent at all. What Serbia should do now is create good relationship with Kosovo and hopefully a free trade agreement and open borders, this way it would help Serbs in Kosovo and and themselves as well.
Most of Serbs don't care for Kosovo anyway but politicians use this as a tool to get votes. I feel for the people of Serbia because ordinary Serbs deserve better. Cheers!

It is amusing to see the K-Alb supporters gloating over a Serbian Minister walking out of an informal conference after, if the article it correct, being lied to about the naming of the Kosovo delegation.

At the end of the day Serbia won't be walking out of the important international organisations such as the UN, Coe and OSCE as Kosovo won't be able to attend these as an independent state.

It is obvious that you have no clue on situation in Northern Ireland. Check your history books. Since 1801 when UK adjoined Northern Ireland to the Kingdom arbitrarily and without Irish consent there was tryouts for negotiations only to end without success. Many Irish imprisoned, tortured and died. Many British killed and injured. This gave birth to IRA. Still no peace to today. And here you are talking about mature and proper negotiations.
Yugoslavia was a federation and each constituive member had a right to succede. So how can you talk about Yugoslavian integrity when each member exercised their own right of self determination. Anyway, after 1989 there was no Yugoslavia. Though,there was a Serboslavia.

You can't possibly compare the UK with Serbia for god's sake. UK doesn't go to Ireland to kill civilians, expell the rest, and burn all of their homes. From what I remember none of the british leaders and generals and definitely not their prime minister or the queen went to the international tribunal for war crimes. Re-walking out: it's a double-edged sword.

This is/was practiced many times, the most famous "walk-out" was the Soviet walk-out before the Korean conflict. That was a diplomatic disaster and ultimately resulted in prolonged conflict and partition of Korea. Had the Soviets not walk out, they would be in a much stronger position later.

Better to remember the Korean case and use that sword with caution.

For centuries the Serbian people have never backed down and given in to invaders and people that wish to walk over them. This is another cycle in our history where we are all presented with challenges and you will all find out again how hard it is to break the will of Serbs. You won't shut us up as long as we live. Freedom and justice will eventually prevail, it always does.

When one minister leaves from a one meeting like this, it is exact the same thing if the Czech minister has left from 1938 Munich summit,when USA,Italy,Germany,Great Britain and France gave admittance for Hitlers Germany occupation of Czechian land where lived majority of Germans(then started world war II)... You provide here twho movies which according to you tell the reality!!! Both are made with significant support of the materials (propaganda) provided from RT Serbia. There fore they can not be credible. At the end of the Czech movie you can clearly read it. The fact that it has not been allowed to be broadcasted is the best advertisement that can do a democratic and European state like Czech Republic which respects the value of the truth. NATO, UN peacemakers are everywhere. These forces are comprised not only of American but several armies.

In case of western contribution it would have been broadcasted europawide. As for the fear that you mention, I can say you that the only issue which I have NO fear is Kosovo. You can't possibly compare the UK with Serbia for god's sake. UK doesn't go to Ireland to kill civilians, expell the rest, and burn all of their homes. From what I remember none of the british leaders and generals and definitely not their prime minister or the queen went to the international tribunal for war crimes. Serbia made a mess and if they want to gain the respect, the least they should do is a public appology to all the neighbours.

Most "American" -s don't even know where Balkan or Europe is.
"American"-s posting here have strong connections to the area (like myself). I don't think, it is proper to pull out any particular passport and shovel it under everybody's nose. I did it by request only just because some people from a certain Southern province of Serbia cannot imagine, Hungarians or Americans may have an opinion different from their governments and are not brainwashed.

Re-walking out: it's a double-edged sword.

This is/was practiced many times, the most famous "walk-out" was the Soviet walk-out before the Korean conflict. That was a diplomatic disaster and ultimately resulted in prolonged conflict and partition of Korea. Had the Soviets not walk out, they would be in a much stronger position later.

Better to remember the Korean case and use that sword with caution.

When one minister leaves from a one meeting like this, it is exact the same thing if the Czech minister has left from 1938 Munich summit,when USA,Italy,Germany,Great Britain and France gave admittance for Hitlers Germany occupation of Czechian land where lived majority of Germans(then started world war II)...
