Ruecker leaving Kosovo after June

Good Riddance! Another rep has done his job efficiently, and has managed to further rip Kosovo away from its rightful owners.

It seems to me that th end of 1244 is on the doorsteps.
SRSG Rycker deserves all the credit in the world for doing an excellent job in most difficult times during UN Mission in Kosova. I wish him the best.

As for this Rucker good riddance is all I can say. The mediocre crop from the UN that have governed have been proven consistently worse.

Clearly it is a mess.and he will be xtremely glad to move on.In that part of the world international right died,and I am not serb at all...

Are you having a joke with me or what? Be serious, I do know what popular sentiment in Kosovo is. Kosovo Albanians feel disenfranchised. Kosovo Serbs feel alienated, discriminated against and in danger.

I want to see Kosovo succeed but no amount of praying or pretending will get you there.

I think that UN and EU are doing a much better job running Kosovo than Russia running Serbia. At least in Kosovo the UN/EU and Kosovo leaders respect the will of the people. In Serbia everybody wants to join Europe except for the politicians, because they get their sallaries and orders from Russia. Kostunica was one of the ikons of democraty in Serbia and main figure to lead Serbia to Europe. Why all of a sudden he became more radical than Seselj,(or how they say more catholic than the pope) not to mention SPS is now a party that the world wish they create a government together with DS.
