Proposal adopted for Kosovo anthem

Why din't serbia come out with a proposal for a new kosovo anthem...oops forgot that Kosovo is now independent and Serbia has nothing to do with kosovo anymore...thank god! Serbia, look after your own problems i.e. get new government..

Kosovo already has an anthem, it is Boze Pravde.

Since this is a fake, illegal, and immoral state unrecognized by most of the world, I would suggest they use Borat's national anthem for Kazakhstan. How does it go? 'Kazakhstan....greatest country in zeee wooorld....' Just substitute Kosovo for Kazakhstan.

this PROVINCE needs an anthem since it has a FLAG! It is your right to judge what PROVINCE makes a STATE, the others knows it well.

I thank Slobodan Petrovic for looking to the future, and not the past, in supporting the new state of Kosova and giving the Serbs a voice in Parliament.

As a Kosovar I'm too appalled by the unpatriotic selection of the national anthem. Kosova has a population of 2 million people (if not more) of which over 90% are Albanian and we should have an anthem called Europe? This is PC gone beyond madness, it's just plain stupid and absolutely sensless.

Wow an anthem without lyrics? But how in the hell can it not have lyrics? After all part of the K alb image is to cleanse kosovo of serbs, destroy any evidence of serbs, serve as a mule for the west, and all at the same time declare themselves independent in every aspect, including free of responsibility for turning kosovo into gods blind spot. Maybe theyve changed all that into a neat little tune. Hey, its even called "europe", all its missing is "union puppet."

I think slobodan petrovic does as he is told by the albanians cos otherwise hed find himself out on his backside against barbed wire, without any chance of securing a job, just like the rest of the serbs in kosovo.

I think most people realise the Albanians live in their own little pretend world of "Kosova", which is detached from the rest of the world.

Somebody from Macedonia like you s/b the last one to criticize the situation in Kosovo since Macedonia has more than enough problems on her own. The first one is that it is an artificial state. Part of it should be included in Albania, the rest in Bulgaria. Because of the long list of problems you will have a hard time to get accepted in both NATO and EU.

I could not help but to have a bit of a chuckle when I read this article.. Europe? Kosovo is anything but European, if anything it resembles the middle east. First the funny flag now the funny national anthem.. So much for independance guys.. this whole Kosovo thing is a farse... recognised by 40 countries (Including Narau) out of 200 countries, can't play football in Fifa/UEFA, 70% unemployment.. The country has a slavic name and the the country has 16 000 babysitters protecting it from reality ensuring the illusion of independance is maintained :) Now Un and co including the Ban fella are talking about some joint leadership role with Serbia??

What next for Kosovo? perhaps a country emblem made up of a clown holding a AK47??

Actually joe, they dont go on strike, they haven't got a way of going on strike considering they arent allowed to get jobs. what am i talking about? kosovo is now 90% albanian, the serbs cant get jobs because they are refused by the albanians. The strike you may refer to, were actually riots after all the serbs who worked at the district courts were kicked out, not to mention UNMIK raided the court. albanians wont even offer the Serbs a fair go, let alone a job. thats why they live behind barbed wire and under constant armed escort.
