Inspite of the handwringing of Tadic's government. When Karel de Gucht said that the EU had signed the SAA with Serbia, without Kosovo, he was telling the truth. That is exactly the agreement that Tadic signed.

Marković needs to be honest with the people. The price of keeping the SAA is giving up Kosovo, and the SAA is no guarantee that Serbia will get into the EU anytime soon.

Markovic needs to be very clear with the Serbian people that he favors giving-up Kosovo on the off chance that Serbia might get to join the EU some day.
