"Isn't it better that you live under the impression that you control the albanian parts of Kosovo..."

(Srboslav, 5 June 2008 08:46)

Srboslav, we are expressionists (emotional for our motherland) it's a different stream, evolution of impressionism, modernity, a courage to challenge stereotype visions- rather you are an impressionist ;)

an eye for an eye will then apply.
(branco covic, 5 June 2008 09:46)

Branco: 'eye for an eye' you say; 'and the world is blind' I say ;)

Why implementing EULEX should be understood as violent action???

EULEX is there to implement Ahtisari plan who grants the highest minority rights in teh WORLD. What's offensive there???

Kosova needs international recognition not a violence.

The illusions will pretty soon go away and the reality will prevail- Kosova is NOT Srbija!

As a matter a fact they have two SEPARATE NAMES, respectively: Kosova and Serbija.
(ben, 5 June 2008 12:58)

Did you at all read my comment? EULEX cannot implement the Ahtisaari because they are both illegal, as is the unilateral proclomation of independence by the K albs.

Highest minority rights? Who are you kidding? We can all see the rights serbs are granted by the albanians. Just look at all the articles on this site for the last few years.

Yeah, the illusions will vanish, and internation law and justice will prevail, lets just hope you albanians can handle it. Don't even bother talking about violence, every single provocation in kosovo has been by albanians so far. March 2004! Grave vandals! the list rolls on for ages... and i have not the time to continue. If you want more incidents go to this website www.b92.net/eng, and actually read it.

And you couldnt be more right. "Kosova is NOT Srbija!"
BUT
KOSOVO IS SERBIA!
KOSOVO JE SRBIJA!

Two seperate names? No, kosovo is in serbia, serbia is serbia, therefore SERBIA + SERBIA = SERBIA.

dramatic changes can only mean one thing! CHAOS! this is anticipated if ALBANIANS try to go by force in the north removing KM car plates, raiding serbian govt offices, and closing of gates 1 and 31. a tooth for a tooth an eye for an eye will then apply.

One simple, true, piece of reality... KosovO is still Serbian land! Kosovo is in no way independent (besides in your deepest dreams and desires.) As long as UN Resolution 1244 stands, Kosovo is Serbian territory. For that matter, any form of force (EULEX), that steps foot on Kosovo; without any legal basis; is clearly a provocation and a threat to Serbia and her interests. It is therefore, that, Serbia has the legal right to take measures against this, including (but not limiting) the deployment of Serbia’s forces; and that of its allies, to Kosovo. The Ahtisaari plan cannot be implemented, as, Kosovo was unilaterally proclaimed independence. In other words, the albanians in Kosovo, declared it independent, without any legal basis. Though America, England and the EU (but not every EU member country i.e. Greece, Spain, Cyprus, etc.) recognise Kosovo (for obvious reasons, well that is, obvious to everyone but the deluded “kosova” supporters), it is not actually independent. UNMIK is the only valid force in Kosovo, and if it can no longer perform its duties, Serbia has every right to maintain the peace.

To all Albanian posters,

I understand that you would love to rule over the serbs in the north and in the enclaves. Its undestandable after all we have been through together ;-)

BUT you have to realize that Pristina will never be able to control North of Ibar, just as Belgrade will probably not be able to control Pristina.

Why are you so keen on controling the Serbs?

Isn't it better that you live under the impression that you control the albanian parts of Kosovo (even if its actually Washington and Brussels that do)and don't have to be bothered by the Serbs in the north?

You know deep inside that you will always have problems with the serbs if you try to controll them. And to etnicly cleanse them will not work today in 2008, it worked in 1995 during operation Storm, but the world was a little different then.

So what is it exactly that you are hoping for??? Please answer this, and not just some wishful thinking about how your "kosova" will be the next Switzerland or Monte Carlo there all nationalities will live toghether in Bratsvo and Jedinstvo (brotherhood and unity)
You know that this will not be the case EVEN if you would get control in some hypotetical way over the north. You would always have problem with controling the serbs.

You have to realize that The north and probably also the enclaves are lost for you. Just move on and accept that you have a two new capitals that you have to run everything thru before makin any kind of decicion.
The sooner the albanians realize this life for the average albanian will be much better and prosperious.

Isn't that what we all want? A future in peace for our children.

Life will probably be better in SErbia and the north than in other parts of Kosovo, but if you work hard it will improve for you to. But don't follow the Palestinians way of leading their people, it will only lead to poverty.

Mark @5. We are about to find out just how much say Serbia has in what goes on in kosovo.

I think you will be unpleasantly surprised.
Without UN approval you have nothing. You will never get UN approval thanks to Russia and China.

Any force used to subdue the Serbs in Kosovo will be seen as an act of aggression towards Serbia itself.

Time to sort this mess out is comong.

Mark (Shqype)

And these dramatic changes will result in more recognitions, including from countries like Montenegro and Macedonia.

Kosova is Kosovar territory, and Serbia has no say in its dealings.

now you got it, KV! the serbian province of Kosovo i Metohija has absolutely no legitimate right to ask for anything that could be understood as a quasi-statelet...

let´s all hope Mr.Lavrov was not right, when he said that some outsiders would like to provoke a violent escalation in order to impose their illegitimate plans on serbian citizens...

Serbia is ready and prepared, there should be no doubts abou that...

Maks

It is going to happen. The same thing when you where surprised why Kosovo didn’t proclaim independence before February 17th and after they did, you were surprised how they dared to do such “illegal move”.
Doesn’t look similar situation again? Don’t be surprised, it is going to happen with or without Russia’s approval. Russia better approves it because is going to make itself a lame veto member.

Jovan

seems like there´s someone trying to provoke a violent conflict...

they must be quite desperate, if they start threatening with the implementation of eulex in the north..

well, I can only say one thing: it´s serbian territory, and nobody should try to impose foreign will on serbian citizens.
