DSS is right to ask such an investigation as it is clear that Tadic was not open about his dealings with the EU. I don't expect that such an investigation will have any other results than give the DSS an excuse to accept the SAA.

Well, as it seems now, Serbia will have “minority government” formed by minority parties. I was thinking to form some 50 parties in Kosovo and to compete in the elections in order to win by 1% per party, and to form a coalition and government.
If this happens in Serbia, what should DS do? They won majority votes in the elections while are at risk becoming opposition!!! Is that a people’s will? Is that the will of 40% !!!?

Marko, allow me to refresh your mememory: Kostunica declared on a press conference "this is the end of the government" on March 8th, 2008. the week before, Kostunica provoked the governmental crises with his announcement, DSS will support the Kosovo-resolution of SRS in parliament - which would have resulted also in a new governmental majority.

these are the facts, Marko. what you claim, are polemics, and the prove, that you can't deal with facts for to express your stance.

Marko,
Your memory seems to be selective. The government fell when Kostunica pushed for a parliamentary resolution that would have put the SAA on hold until EU countries withdrew their backing for Kosovo's independence. Then, after Djelic signed the SAA, he said an SRS-DSS coalition would annul it in parliament. Now he's relying on the thin veil of a new "legal analysis" to break his own promise to the voters so that he can retain his post as prime minister. Little wonder why I have "distaste" for Kostunica, though you fail to note by distaste for Alimpic's undemocratic ploy as well.

Petrovarodin, allow me to refresh your memory as it is clouded with distaste for the DSS.

The government fell because the DS were very satisfied with the presidential election and they were not willing to continue the government action plan with respect to sueing those countries that recognised Kosovo. The G17 were also trying to frustrate the Agreement with the Russians in regards to the pipeline and finnally both the DS and G17 were not co-operating on the h-p highway.

The government did not fall over solana's deal as there was no SAA on the table at that time the government colapsed.

The SAA presented by Messiers Solana and Rupel came after the government fell and Mr Tadic was seen drinking champagne and glad-handing with the architects of Serbia's bombardment, robbery and humiliation.

What the DS does not want to face is that the European Union does not respect Serbia, and that the DS are not the only ones entitled to Serbian democracy or an interpertation of the Serbian interest.

This is why our politics never ceases to amuse me. The party of "legalism" is now proposing a "legal analysis" of the SAA in order to convince SPS to join an SRS-DSS coalition government. What legal analysis is needed? Kostunica already caused a collapse of his government with the DS precisely because of his "legal analysis" that the SAA represented Serbia's surrender of Kosovo. By his own dumb logic, then, if the SRS-DSS-SPS government fails to annul the signing of the SAA, then his government will be accepting the surrender of Kosovo. I thought you couldn't get more cynical than Alimpic's postponement of the formation of the new Belgrade assembly for six weeks, but that pales in comparison to this.
