"Reality against Kosovo energy fantasy"

Kosovo politicians are sure the province has the capacity to export energy, but “harsh reality contradicts these grandiose energy fantasies,” writes Die Presse.

I believe the expression "I wish the neighbor's cow would die" is a Serbian one, no? In any case, how about giving it a rest, folks? I don't see how it serves anyone if, as [unnamed] Die Presse commentator suggests, EPS is sitting on a monopoly position. Tesla was indeed a great Serbian-American, by the way -- which is really my point.

PB,
looks like I am talking to the wall, see the last page of this: http://www.euinkosovo.org/upload_facts/Fact%20Sheet%20on%20Energy%20March%202007.pdf (Sibovc field = 40 years of coal and other fields)

As far Albos going North, Serbs can be workers, no one cares, after all they have to work too, but under KOSOVA government. Rule of law will be there too. For a decade maybe by EU only but eventually people will realize...

Al - you've obviously been reading too much of your own mickey mouse albanina propaganda - 70% OF COAL IS UNDER SERBIAN AREAS and this is the real reason why the US and Eu don't want it to stay with Serbia. That is the real reason why the US and EU are backing the Albanina's. That explodes the other Albaninas myth - a just war against persecution by Milosevic.

Hahaha, you have so much control in the north that the EU is talking about deploying to just the Albanina areas. You keep saying that you will take over soon and that UNMIK can leave. We'll see (and you'll see) how little control you have in the north. Not one albanina official will be able to do anything in the north, whether it's the police, army, council workers, etc, etc.

face facts, the north has gone and with it the majority of the coal supply. Unfortunately for you, the US and EU are giving you aid in the hope they can get that coal. When it becomes clear that you can't have it, they'll just kick you to the kerb.

>> The coal is sat mainly under SERBIAN areas of Kosovo and they aren't allowing you access and they won't in the future.

KOSOVO areas, Kosovo control. Get it right. NATO troops took the courthouse and warned you: 'don't expect flowers next time' you throw grenades. Less than 20% of minerals is in North Mitrovica (we know why you REALLY want Kosovo: milk it as a colony.) Yes it will take time, but Serbia is starving as well, and US /EU can throw a few crumbs to Kosovars till it happens. You will be immigrating to Macedonia for better pay.

This summer will be crucial for Serbia's Europian path.
So, I wouldn't be surprised if some western paper said that the whole of ex-Yugo market is under Tadic's control. To: Jovan, you must have developed a good taste for those Euro carrots because somebody is definately being duped.

You DO understand that planning a nuclear plant is one think, being allowed to build is another and actually putiing it to work is a third one.
I cant really see it happening in the next 30 years or so, just because thats how long it takes usuallly.
On the other hand, if Kossyfopedio (Kossovo) eventually decides to build its own power plants of whatever kind, you also DO realise that it will take a lot of money, a lot of efforts, a lot of international agreements and arrangements, a lot of global organisations joining (after complying with their requirements) and a lot of time. If though the Albanians of Kossyfopedio decide to apoint it to a foreign consortium, then you DO realise that all income is going to go to them and not to any kind of Kossovo goverment.
I feel that the albanians do not really realise what being a state is. Hopefully they will keep that inside their borders and not try to export it :)

You Albanians haven't grasped the facts yet. The coal is sat mainly under SERBIAN areas of Kosovo and they aren't allowing you access and they won't in the future. You'll have to take it by force but that would be very embarrassing to the EU and the US to do that.

the nearest you're gonna get to that coal is in your dreams.

To all you anti-Albanians out there, jealousy doesn't become you.

Your forgetting that Albania was recently found to have some rather large oil deposits offshore.

Energy experts are stating that Albania and Kosova combined will be the major source of energy for the western Balkans in the next ten years.

Be careful who you wish to offend !

Faced with losing everything (if Albos build a parallel line) Serbs will eventually agree to getting the transmission fee. Yes, building it is expensive and can delay things, but it can be done if Serbs are spiteful. Energy is king. Kosova has plenty of coal, Albania has plenty of water and it will happen. Transmission lines, railroad tracks, power plants, cities, and all can be built if coal is there.

What I understand form this is that the only problem is the transmission since the grid is he one of ex-Ygo (North-South).

Anyhow, I didn't saw anything challenging the capacities.

Kosova is the fifth in the world for coal- this is a fact and Die Presse did not, and could not put into question this fact.

Hence I don’t understand what the journal or who edited the article in B92 want to say?

The potential are real- the transmission is to be build in order to bypass Serbia (although I am not sure if it really has to be done- Serbia would lose the transmission fee).

In Albania are invested colossal amounts of money in energy and transmission capacities which will benefit Kosova too.

Austians are investying something like 1bln of euro, Italians same amount and there is a project for a nuclear plant in Albania- in joint venture with Italians and other interested countries.

I see only bright future.

Serbia does not cash the money from the energy in Kosovo. KEK does! Serbia doesent take any sort of decision about KEK I really dont see how they control it?!!!
And whether KOsovo hasent got enough energy, does Trepca se radi Beogtrad se zgradi remind of anything? Serbia has takenenough of KOsovo! Done now, for good!

the K-albanians, not all of course, are being duped.

it can´t be said an other way, since it is the pure and simple reality.

can´t wait to read albanian comments about B92 being pro-serb or this article coming from "the serbian secret-service "

:)

let´s just see what future brings.
I am confident.
