Dear AI,

The Serbian nation rose against the Nazis (and their Croat, Muslim and Albanian allies) in WWII, setting an example for all of Europe at a time when few thought Hitler could be stopped. That resistance, including monarchists, democrats and communists included the right, the center and the left of Serbia much like the Radical, DSS and SPS alliance of today.

If Serbian resistance truly collapsed after 11 days in 1941 as you say, someone should have told the Germans so that they could have saved the time and money they wasted putting up these wanted posters for Royalist resistance leader Mihailovic and Communist resistance leader Broz-Tito in 1943:

You were cooperating before he even invaded you (and of course after). Oh, and your "resistance" capitulated in 11 days. Tito on the other hand...

Stop trying to rewrite history.

There has been no doubt since voting day that the so-called "Democratic" Party of Boris Tadic lost the election.

Since then, they first tried to deceive the public by spinning their loss as a win, then they began an unsuccessful effort to bribe the Socialists and anyone else they thought they could buy, and now they are simply buying time in the hope that their masters in Washington and Brussels can invent some kind of a crisis that would allow them to hang onto power by whatever means possible.

This game is over. The DS and their corrupt mix of NGO shadow controllers and assorted other foreign paymasters are facing not just a lost of power, but a forensic audit that will reveal kickbacks, pay-offs, counter-deals and the many other ways they have misused state resources and the public purse as if it was their own personal bank account.

Once the facts come to light, they will not merely be facing a loss of power but a loss of liberty as the courts bring justice to bear against the failed effort to colonize Serbia and steal Kosovo.

Just as resistance to Hitler's version of the united Europe project first rose in Serbia, this country is making history again today by taking up the banner of freedom against the aggression against Serbia over the past two decades that had aimed to complete the NATO-EU project by violently dividing and conquering the Balkans.

Belgrade is being liberated now and soon the rest of Serbia will be free as well. The coalition of the Radicals, Socialists and the DSS represents the entire political spectrum of the country from right to left, united in the name of the nation and the survival of the free Serbian people.

Eventually, other European nations will join in ripping down all those EU structures that serve not to unite but merely to control nations and individuals. This does not mean that inter-European cooperation is bad in principle, but it does mean that the anti-democratic German-dominated surveillance society being driven down Serbia’s throat has failed and will be stopped. This latest united Europe project, based on erecting a massive protectionist trade wall against Russia and the rest of the world while mortgaging the freedom of those within the EU Wall with promises of material wealth was doomed from the start because it contradicted Europe’s history of freedom dating back to ancient Greek democracy.

Simply put, none of the parties in the SRS-DSS-SPS coalition now coming into power in Belgrade will back down or walk out because they know that to do so would crush democracy and independence for the Serbian people for generations to come.

Sincerely,

John Bosnitch

is absolutely right.
Aleksandar Vucic should just move in with his staff and fire anybody who offers any resistance to it.
The majority of the people of Belgrade have spoken and there is nothing else to wait for, or discuss about.
Democracy should not hesitate to use a strong arm when facing its saboteurs.
Boris 'the European' should be sent an unequivocal message that he can't trample the will of the people, regardless of his Solana's instructions.

Princip isn't it obvious? Anybody who has followed Kostunica (and is willing to change, willingness to change is important) can see that he is full of inconsistencies. One minute its all about the law, next its about something that is more important than the law. One minute its all about SSP, next minute its about achieving agreement with SPS. Thats politics yes, but Kostunica pretends to be somehow above it all.

That is not the case with Nikolic by the way, even if I don't agree with his policies (or lack of them). If he had rejected the SAA I believe he would stick with this policy today.

Lets rewind back 10 years or so, how long did it take for you to see through Milosevic?

As for constantly criticising one party - you would know a lot about that wouldn't you princip?

And its not me doing a bad job. Its Kostunica's record that is poor, not my interpretation of it.

The fact is that you are willing to forgive him all of this, just because he uses patriotic language. All his sins are forgotten. I suspect that Milosevic supporters felt the same way, even when Sloba betrayed his people, even though the cleansed Krajina Serbs were ready to march on Belgrade and cause a coup etc. Other fools still continued supporting him.
Masochism isn't my thing.

By the way I don't take much notice of Kostunica sympathisers who are not angered by being taken for a ride on SSP. It means one of 2 things - either they knew they were lying through their teeth the whole time, or that they believed the DSS propaganda, were betrayed, but continue mindlessly following somebody who fooled them.

Tell me how am I meant to respect people who lie, or people who are exploited, see the results and continue to (want to) be exploited?

The politicians will keep using them like lemmings.

I'd be quite happy to talk about the Bodrums, the state of emergency, the scandals of DS etc. I punished them at the ballot box for their sins and will do so again if necessary.

For now though its clear that Kostunica deserves the punishment.

Kostunica is the most honorable leader for all you Serbs who want to be able to hold your heads up high and walk tall. The fact that he himself is against the SAA but is willing to be flexible in order to placate people in his party and the SPS with differing views shows the need for cooperation and compromise. He said before the election that he is against the signing and he is saying the same thing now but his personal view cannot stand in the way of the collective view held by members of his coalition so any Serb calling Kostunica a hypocrite is obviously simple minded in the ways of coalition politics. The parts of the SAA which benefit Serbia should be approved by the Serbian Parliament and the parts which do not should be debated and sent back to Brussels. All this hypocrisy coming from the DS and the Albanians on this site is truly amazing.
They say the truth hurts, I believe in this case it has devastated many people. What is the harm in protecting what is yours and calling a spade a spade? What is so wrong in asking the EU to insert a clause to substantiate its respect for a country's territorial integrity? Is this a crime? Why is there such anymosity towards a person (The Honorable Voyo Kostunica) for upholding these principles? I guess to the people (sellouts) who are opposed to the well being of the Serbian nation, it bothers them. To the Albanians on this site, why are your feathers so ruffled in regards to Serbian politics?

Why all this hate towards Vojo? Well I guess it's because he is doing the right things for Serbia. He must be touching a lot of nerves as I can see on previous posts. All I can say is Serbia is very lucky to have such a brlliant politician, a true patriot. Time for sellouts like DS & co. to step aside and let real politicians rule Serbia! But I guess they don't take NO for an answer. DS & co. are so cynical, they just don't know how to step down, even though they lost!

Bganon,

seems like you have a bit of a beef about Kostunica! One wonders why...?

Regarding;

"The common man senses that you are nothing like him, don't listen to the same music, don't like to chat in cafes or buy something from the market.
In fact they quite resent your middle class, establishment values. "

- seems like you could more appropriatly place these labels on practically most Double Standard (D yeS to all that Europe demands) politicians too - in fact the whole of the EUcratic elite who have disenfranchised democracy away form its true meaning!

So what is new? & why the constant pop at just one when the tar on the brush you use applies even thicker on the ones you chose to allow such Double Standards (DS) for ???

Could it be your sole raison d'etre on this site is just to lambast Kostunica and all that he stands for ??? - certainly seems like it and your doing a poor job of it with such a tarring of the brush !!!

The new governing coalition in Belgrade should simply walk into the city assembly and begin the business of government.

It should be explained that anyone who stands in their way, or who attempts to sabotage the functioning of the new city assembly, will be dismissed from their posts and may face prosecution.

No one will dare block their way and certainly not Zoran Alimpić (DS).

Kostunica surrendered his credibility a long time ago with his ultranationalist agit-prop. That doesn't change the fact that he happens to right this time. I vehemently oppose an SRS-DSS-SPS coalition in Belgrade or anywhere else, but its plain as day that the DS is artificially delaying the seating of the assembly to give them time to buy off the Socialists. Its a politically cynical move, but I have to admit I hope it works.

Vojo, Vojo. You still haven't learned your lesson have you?
Stop trying to behave like a petulant radical, it will not win you any votes.

In fact they quite resent your middle class, establishment values.

Its pitiful to see you trying to court this audience over and over without any success with angry rhetoric.

On the point you have stretched the definition of the law so many times now you don't have any credibility left. Yes DS are stretching the boundaries hoping that the Belgrade SRS/DSS/SPS agreement will collapse.

But that certainly is no worse than basing the centerpiece of your election campaign upon a lie.

Whoever thought to delay the Belgrade deal is either a very bold strategist or severley suffers from the sin of hubris.

My deep affection for really delicous political manevouring aside, frustrating the workings of democracy is a dangerous undertaking that should not be performed by responsible men.
However, now that it has happened and it seems that the DS is trying to delay democracy for a couple of months lets see how well the new coalition can solve problems together.

The DS are sore losers and with its EU backers will attempt to undermine the will of the people with more deceit, lies and dirty tricks.

At least this will allow the SPS to further distance itself from the DS and see its true face.

The people in this "sell everything to Europe" coalition are history and I can't see them getting back into power for a very very long time.

Sincerely,

You were cooperating before he even invaded you (and of course after). Oh, and your "resistance" capitulated in 11 days. Tito on the other hand...

Stop trying to rewrite history.
