Bganon,

"the Trick"

- I think that says a fair bit of your alliance and character.

As for Soros well lets just point out that there is a fair amount of distrust within the UK itself over his motives for (conditioned) "philanthropy" since "black Wednesday" in 1992 or the Asian finacial crisis of 1997.

Needless to say he has himself suggested he was largely responsible for getting rid of communism through his support for Solidarity and Charter 77 while more recently he is associated with Georgia's rose revolution. Needless to say his "open society" spreads his philanthropy conditioned on the "right result"

Bganon I think you'll find plenty for yourself to comprehend one does not need to look far for rots and causes of instability when "conditioned philanthropy is utilised - maybe your only too aware of it yourself given your "trick" but comprehend people are more far intelligent then those who play such "tricks" give them credit for and soon learn the difference!

The Deems' decade long rule in Belgrade was a disaster, as if a half a century of the communist mismanagement was not enough. Of all the pressing things they managed to "beautify" the city covering it with those crummy tiles which are falling apart, and building a thousand handicapped accessible ramps on the sidewalks 95 percent of which does not meet the code and represent a hazard rather than an asset. They did make a ton of money in the process nevertheless. In the meantime, they forged and fraudulently adopted the General Urbanistic Plan for Belgrade, a document so thoroughly useless and dysfunctional that it makes en exception to the rule "better to have any plan than none". What's upsetting is that there is not much to suggest that the new city bosses will be much better. I would be delighted to see them prove otherwise.

Its only a little over a month which really isn't very long as these things go. These complaints seem a little silly as there is no real harm here - yes it might be construed as unfair but that is not the same thing as illegal and to assume embezzlement could occur in this period is laughable. Also on the side given that DSS-NS, SRS, SPS?PUS/JP(think that's all of them) were not in a coalition prior to the elections saying that the DS is blocking the will of the people is dubious at best, certainly it could be said that they are delaying the 'business of the people' though I find such remarks a little doubtful given the events that tend to follow such criticisms. That being said I think it is generally the sign of a healthy government/society to shuffle the deck as it were making sure that no politicians become overly accustomed to authority.

Isn't it obvious? It is felt that the Belgrade agreement between SRS/DSS/SPS is built on 'glass legs' to use a Serbian phrase.

The trick then is to stay within the laws (a la Kostunica) and to give every chance for the coalition to collapse before the initial session.

I do think you ought to take a calm me down pill though Prinicip - you are beginning to sound like SRS/SPS in the 90's by labeling any opponents as agents of Soros.

As for the Serbian interest. I can't agree with you that Vucic being mayor of Belgrade is in the Serbian interest. We all remember him as propaganda minister under Milosevic. He just loved to try to close down any political criticism in the media etc God love him.
I wonder if he has grown up yet.

One wonders what this is other then poltical sour grapes and attempts to stop the will of the electorate - hardly a Democratic move by supposedly "Democratic" Stranka!!! DS are doing nothing but hampering Serbia and are acting in the most undemocratic fashion possible with such actions - what next? - no doubt Delic is busy organising his "mass protests" already at the behest of Soro's inspired "democratic" rent a mob revolution NGO's even before the government is formed!!!

Bganon, comments required as this is clearly inexcusable behaviour against Serbian interest ...
