Bosnia: 6 dead as gunman goes on rampage

Six people have been killed in Lipnica near Tuzla, police from the Tuzla canton have announced.

Unfortunately in the Balkans, there is a particular group of people that still believe that they are the victims of some sort of world campaign aimed at belittling them. There some within this ethnic group that believe that although they started FOUR wars in the 1990s, it is they who are the true victims. Of course I am talking about those Serbs who are bringing down their own people by trying to re-write history and bring back the days of Milosevic, Martic and Karadzic by advertising the disgusting policies of Seselj. I would hate to see this group of people lead Serbia backwards.

As long as these types of people continue to spree lies, rumours and propaganda against other nations and ethnicities, then the more likely people will not care about the plight of Serbs. The quicker that these people recognise the truth – that wars of aggression were instigated by certain types of Serbs (note that not all Serbs believe in propagandist nationalist rhetoric like ‘Ida’) against sovereign nations like Croatia, Slovenia and BiH – the quicker Serbia and the Balkans can move forward from this bloody past.

I hope those types of people stop living in the past and realise that the present is here to stay. There is nothing that the minority of people, who seem to have big mouths, and who want to create a “greater Serbia” (that has never existed in history and never will in the future) can do about it

There are jerks within any community who behave badly: that certainly doesn't mean all of people within that community share their views. I wonder if I looked on YouTube if I would find instances of Serbs behaving badly. Would that mean that all Serbs are bad because of some idiots on YouTube?

I dare you to go to Youtube and search and watch videos on Krajina, Operation Storm, Vukovar, etc. and read the comments.

You are all either ignorant or lying. If you've ever been to Balkan forums you'd find plenty of hate towards the Serbs:

Of course it does as the mainstream media would be certain to point out if it was a Serb/Bosnian Serb and no doubt people would be saying nasty things about Serbs over it - including Muslims and Croats - on this forum.

For all we know this man was involved in ethnically cleansing Serbs from Tuzla and beyond along with the Muslim forces.

I'll bet he and the relatives he killed would content to have the Serbs purged from the area. They are cold-hearted towards Serbs so I think pro-Serbs/Serbs should be glad he didn't kill more Serbs.

Virtually all Croats and Bosnian Muslims don't care or gloat over Serbs' deaths on a daily basis and enjoy watching Youtube videos with dead Serbs in them.

The crime is terrible but I have a need to point out the fact the villege is Croatian. Serbs mostly left Tuzla and nearby places.Names and family names can many time misslead people after we lived in broterhood and unity in decades and people got married, divorced, converted.

The crime is terrible but I have a need to point out the fact the villege is Croatian. Serbs mostly left Tuzla and nearby places.Names and family names can many time misslead people after we lived in broterhood and unity in decades and people got married, divorced, converted.
