I really don't get why China does not just let this Taiwan idea slide. I think that if after fifty years there is no compromise between the two, China should just recognize Taiwan as a separate country. It has zero control or influence over it anyway, just some stupid UN resolution that holds no water looking at the reality on the groung of this issue.
China should rather look to achieving peace with Tibet, rather than Taiwan, which is completely independent from it in every way anyway.
BTW I think this issue is unrelated to Kosovo, just before anyone says anything.
