Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel says EULEX will have been “more or less” deployed in Kosovo by the time the constitution comes into force on June 15.

Dear Princip, it looks like Solana is trying to FOOL everybody by linking EULEX to resolution 1244. In reality its not related at all. Nations who still believes in the UN and rule of law should not fall on this trap by the US & EU elites.

such declarations of Dependence have no legality just as they had none in 1992 - but I guess you can carry on with your dream just hope it does not become a nightmare becase its reality!!!! You should comprehend that economic development is underpinned by clear and unequivocal property irghts - something that remains highly ambiguous while some pretend to have created a nation of "kosovarians"!!!
Moreover its interesting to note the poor judgement of a sons choice in correcting a fathers decisions - Bush Senior in 91 stopped at Kuwait/Iraq borders while junior invaded in 2003 for all his glory and again illegal declartions show a similar opposite response poor analysis and failure too!!!

Do you ever wonder why you’re always one step behind? You insisted with a passion that UDI won’t happen but there you go it did. You did not accept UNMIK, now you love them and are against EULEX. I guess tomorrow you will beg EULEX to stay.

Maybe some INSIDES from Italy will help to understand something..
Eulex will be shifted in the late summer maybe autumn, there are 2 reasons:
1)Eu and Russia will in the next future see if they can reach a broad agreement and possibly a marriage..
Finally the time seems appropriate , no more countries in Eu are vetoing and the Germans have reported interesting things from Moscow in the lasts trip of their diplomats so for the moment (and in the future if everything will be fine )nothing must hurt the honeymoon ..
2)The Cyprus agenda seems stopped and Greece is accusing some EU partners of making few pressures on Turkey for the reunification of the island so also if you think that the 2 facts (Kosovo and Cyprus ) are
unbonded the true is the opposite , above all for the position of Greece so...

One wonders who ill advised Solano to suggest;
"UNMIK is on the ground based on Security Council Resolution 1244, as is our EULEX mission”
- please Solano tell the world where in 1244 it mentions anything of the sort???
Even for the US who have started the blame game of poor 'lobbying' by their puppets are starting comprehend their failure to deceive and shifting the responsibility for failure but alas the EU are about to be caught holding the US still born creation!!!

before, their big plan for EULEX was to deploy by 3 waves from march 17 till june 15. transition was supposed to start from 17 feb. so the plan was a mere show? only for the drawing board? now they have trouble deploying? its because they can not twist the law as they wished!!!many countries are still in their right mind unlike the others who has gone crazy.

Hey Javier Solana!! please get to your senses. UNMIK is the only authority in kosovo serbia and it's mandated by the UNSC. EULEX has no mandate from the UN and therefore it's illegal Please dont force the issue..

They have telling us for months now that EULEX deployment will start on 15 June and valid throughout Kosova.
Brave EU. However, Kosovars will forgive you if you slightly delay the mission.
One good thing about the West is that in most cases they persist until they prevail, both diplomatically and militarily...

It can't happen at all until approved by the UN Security Council. No new date has been set by the EU for EULEX because some members are only too aware of the legal quagmire.
There is only one solution to this entire situation - reopen talks without a preset Hollywood ending and insist on both parties coming to the table.
At this time, Kosovo is still legally part of Serbia (that's just a fact not a statement designed to provoke) and until things are done properly it will remain so.
