Dačić won't travel to Brussels

There are all signs of Ukrainisation of political life in Serbia. Moreover temporary succes of all "colored revolutions" brings same sad consequences :

1.Split of the elites and political destabilisation.

2. Disaster of the economy.

3. National confrontation.

4. Degradation of the foreign policy.

Neither of the US sponsored coup d'etats have been able to bring anything positive to their nations. Serbian OTPOR , Georgian KHMARA , Ukrainian PORA or Kirgizian movement were unable to make any notable progress in any sphere cause they were built to destroy ! Same happened all over the Latin America with only one exception in Chile.

Those countries who were able to stand against the US sponsored and EU backed "revolutions" show much more stability and economical progress. Those are Russia , Belorussia , Armenia ,Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. So even if the SPS takes a logical decision and joins the patriots the West will go on undermining internal stability of Serbia.

To my private regret Russia is only witnessing the developments. We behave as if we can see no difference between Tadic and Nikolic. Russian TV pays more attention to the Intervision than to the vital choice this country have to make. It happens that hostile EU offers carrots while friendly Russia without any advertising is forming silent pro-Serbian front. Nobody knows what do we want to have in Serbia ! The only hope is for the secret diplomacy ... So let's pray together !

Indeed, they will most certainly do. They didn’t go to all this enormous trouble in past 20 years to let it slip now, when they almost had it completely in their hands.
Same thing about their plans for destruction of Russia. Russian resurrection and Serbian refusing to accept the submit ion must be annoying them enormously. They are beginning to be very late on the schedule. But, they will adjust and keep trying in every possible way. We will both need a lot of endurance, hard and smart work to prevent realization of their plans.

But, there are reasons for optimism. It doesn’t go for the west as smoothly as they hoped. Your economy is booming, there are plans to invest profits in infrastructure, industry, to rise living standard of the population, better protect vulnerable, strengthen strategic parts of Armed forces …I’m very glad to see that you are developing relations with a Greece. All this is a very good. It seems that tandem Putin – Medvedev works very good together.
As for Serbia, I would prefer patriotic block in the power but even if fifth column form the government, it is not the end of the story. Russia should become much more present, active and assertive in the Serbia. Why not buy few Serbian newspapers, TV channels. Help Russophile politicians and other people of influence. If there are not enough of them buy some journalists, NGO's, political commentators, you name it, just as West does, to create some balance in information. Western owned media in Serbia have an agenda and they are selecting and presenting news in such a way that public thinks that submission to the west is only possibility for Serbia. Many people that voted for “pro- European democratic block, didn’t vote out of conviction. Actually many of them don’t like west at all, but they are tired of almost twenty years of misery, chaos, isolation, war. They just want to be let in peace to live their lives more or less normally. They are not yet aware of fast global changes from the recent period. They are still under impression that US / EU are all mighty and Russia weak. If they would know some alternatives, many would vote differently doesn’t help much in presenting 9DZCX3Yalternatives to the Attract young Serbs to Russia. Encourage cultural and educational contacts. Finance number of talented Serb students to study in Russia.

There is a lot of potential for the economic developments. Russian economy is booming, how about giving a work to the Serbian engineering companies in the big building projects? Import some products from Serbia?
Russia should also make a mind what does it actually want. Would you like to confront the West? In that case, give them a little bit of the taste of their own medicine – bring the rockets closer to the NATO, build a rocket base in Serbia. Or maybe you would actually prefer that Serbia joins EU and then act as a bridge between Russia and EU and protect Russian interests from within EU? Together with some other EU members? Greece for example?

Russia could demonstrate to the world that it is a reliable partner that can and will protect its friends. That might help create a new ones in the future. It was very dangerous to be Russian friend through the 90's.
