Vuk Jeremic does a teriffic job, we should give him a credit for it. He doesn't just speak but what he says is also true as it turned out so many times.
Of course in the present situation his diplomatic and legal achievements to some look like Don Quihote kind of actions, fighting against the windmills. What are the actions of someone who has the entire NATO alliance against him?
But I wouldn't worry too much about the present moment. We all know that 'Kosovo Independence' can't last.

well, it's not like i can barely stand to read the bizarre ramblings of the nationalists, because they disgust me. but there is one significant difference between now and in the 90s. in the 90s, these dangerous types had weapons and state support, and went wild, committed horrendous atrocities, were blessed for performing these acts, and then lied about them, before, during and after their commission.

but now it is a bit different -- true, they can commit individual acts of violence, they can threaten, burn embassies, scare a few people -- but essentially they are impotent. as sonia biserko says, w/ nato in the neighborhood, they are unable to do what comes so natural for them. so they must belittle, make fun of, put down in the cheapest, silliest way, which somehow makes them feel better.

ZK UK looks like we have ourselves a new country and the start of a beautiful friendship(just as Bogie said to the Frenchie walking off into the night in Casablanca)but even if you are taller -as most of you Serbs are and better looking than me-I must insist that I get the first dance with Minnie Mouse. She is soooo adorable. All hail to the new Republic of Disneyworld!!!

Looks like a done deal luciano. I'll just put a "Welcome to the Republic of Disneyworld" sign up, have Goofy protect it and the celebrations begin.

Champagne will be flowing so don't be late!

This one more prove that UNMIK has lost its power in independent Kosovo. Kosovo officials are no longer under UNMIK administration therefore not able to stop them doing their job; such is representing country in summits like this one.
It would be much wise for Serbia officials to cooperate with our officials rather than to ignore them. At the bottom line, we are just neighbors, and let us be good neighbors.

ZK UK I would be honored to serve as your ambassador to the Republic of Disneyworld.Cocktail parties and dinner dances in the company of Mickey and Minnie is preferable to boring functions with the likes of George(Bush)or Elizabeth(Queen).Walt Disney -the father of my country -brought more joy to the world than George Washington or Beuwolf.

luciano, sounds good to me. I can then make you my foreign minister of little Serbia, right here in the UK. Or would you prefer to be my ambassador to the US?

Either way, the choice is yours.

luciano

ZK UK I doubt that Walt Disney himself knew how important his people would become and what high positions of power they would hold.I personally would rather break bread with them than most of our so called leaders(Bush,Brown,Elizabeth).Any time you wanna come visit the US let's meet at the Magic Kingdom.Shalom

What and where has Tadic been since 17th February ….???

(Princip, UK, 22 May 2008 13:43)

He immediately went to Bucharest for help and it worked. Romania with a neighbor Slovakia and little Mickey Mouse Cyprus are in your side. They will work twice hard to make Serbia EU member without condition (!!!). But those shameless countries like UK where you live (If I was you I would leave and burn your passport in airport), and some other like France, Germany, Italy etc. etc. etc. ……… don’t understand your “international law” and right of Serbia in Kosovo.

The reason that the foreign minister is asking for disciplinary measures to be taken is that Nagele allowed Kosovo Foreign Minister Skender Hyseni to speak at the South-East Europe Cooperation Process summit.
After almost a century of Serb occupation of Kosovo, always they insisted to shut down the freedom of the Kosovar people, killing and raping, displacing and confiscating the property, now Serbian “European” government want to ask other take away the elementary right, the right of speech. Unfortunately, when is time to deal with Kosovars rights, Serbian government are the same, that is the reason I am not concerned what kind of government is going to established in Beograd.

nice try! nice try, to present a nobody as a "foreign minister" ... lol.

(Jovan, 22 May 2008 14:42)

Jovan, why don’t you pretend to be FM of Serbia or even FM of Kosovo and attend such summit or international meetings and make FM of other countries to listen to you when you “without permission” enter in such a summit and “without permission” go to podium and speak?

Serbia agrees to a document that says it is Ok of the countries of Southeast Europe to have a different view of the Kosovo problem instead of the insistence that Serbia's territorial integrity is intact. Then the Foreign minister of Kosovo is allowed to address the group. Sounds like someone was triumphant but it apparently wasn't Serbia.
Way to show your "teeth" or gums.

Suzana,

Last night, I, along with three buddies, proclaimed my dog the "King of Konnecticut." We had a vote and it was unanimous. (the ceremony was inspiring. . .you should have been there)

Guess what? He's not really a king. And neither is Hyseni a 'foreign minister'.

To be independent, a state needs a UN seat.

Where's 'kosova's'?

Don't know? Ask the foreign ministers of Russia and China.

I also demand that NASA take me to orbit with space shuttle, next week (the latest), for a romantic few days holiday...

Is this not the exact point taht Kostunica was warning of ??

What and where has Tadic been since 17th February for him to only now comprehend the indecent proposal that was put to him for his signature on SAA post illegality???

What exactly has Tadic signed yesterday in SEECP declaration???

Can someone tell me how many provinces in the world has their own Foreign Ministers? It is about time Serbs wake up and realize that Kosovo is an independent country
(Suzana, 22 May 2008 10:57)

Well, I have a foreign minister and president right here on a piece of land in the UK, which is even less than a province. I also have the "International decision group" which has the authority to override the "International steering group" set up by NATO. All that was witnessed by my two cats and a squirrel.

Why don't you try to discipline the host country if you can.

Instead Jeremic asks to reprimand/tick off a minor UNMIK official - is this the best way to protect and ensure sovereignty?
