I have an eerie feeling, Mr. Magyar never visited Vojvodina, is regularly wearing a white hat - and worships Quetzalcoatl, the bloodthirsty Aztec Pigeon-Snake God.

But he is not 100% off. There is an open question of Megyer-Subarian kinship, the main Hungarian tribe could actually be from Caucasus. Our neighbors were certain people who (as "Arnavutluk") later appeared on Balkan peninsula. But as much as some desire, modern-day "Arnavutluk" won't be our neighbors... nor are the followers of Quetzalcoatl-cult very welcomed in Hungary. Unfortunately in the last 800 or so years (basically since they moved "in"), the Arnavutluk leaders had a score of missed opportunities to grow up. Allying themself with Quetzalcoatl-cult was an other PR disaster.

First pragmatic statement from USA for long time. North to Serbia, south independent following Ahtisaari plan with better local self government and minority rights. It is compromise but as they say - better light compromise than big fight. After that both sides can concentrate to other challenges e.g. job creation, anti-corruption fight, and other issues. Let´s be once pragmatic.

New talks are very important for region. The talk should take part in Vienna and quadruplet (Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia and Kosovo) should talk on future of Serbia. Peace in Serbia should prevail and Serbia should have its natural shape. Part of Vojvodina should go where it belong, to Hungary. That will bring peace and stability and very good neighbor relationship with Hungary, taking advantage of Hungary EU membership. Sandzak deserves its everlasting peace by going to a natural destiny, Bosnia. Presevo Valley should go to its own motherland Kosovo. Serbia in return should get Serbska and North of Kosovo. Countries neighbor of Serbia are waiting. Time is ticking for Serbia to bring peace. Do they want peace? Let wait and see.

I like this idea. We will soon get implemented the partition of Vojvodina to join Hungary and Sandjak to join Bosnia. Serbia is the country that must be partitioned.

The Troika once proposed partition too. And it got a "njet" from both sides.

The problem is that for Serbia talking about it would be an implicit recognition of Kosovo and Kosovo sees no need to talk as they believe thay can get it all. Ahtisaari and the Contact Group would have been in a position to make partition proposals but they hid themselves behind the "principle" of "no partition".

I believe that partition is the best solution and I see two possible variants:
-1- Serbia recognizes Kosovo in exchange for the north tip and better guarantees for Serbs in the rest of Kosovo
-2- In addition to -1- Serbia cedes the parts of the Presevo Valley with an Albanian majority while Kosovo cedes some Serb enclaves (including Strpce).

The big question is who can initiate such negotiations. As long as the West keeps hiding behind false principles and distorted history this would be very difficult.

I was interested in the view that once the illegal 'constitution' is in place 1244 is at an end. The legal government of Kosovo then would actually return to Serbia.

Serbia suffered under Milosevic, and the forces at work then did no favours to Serbia and its causes. However, if Serbia sent in a civil police force to Kosovo once 1244 is agreed to be broken, it would be quite within its democratic legal powers. Would NATO have any justification for further bombing? - I doubt it. Could the EU exclude the Serbian population from their future in the EU? - I doubt it.

There comes a time when Serbia has to act properly with law on its side and to take back its own rights - that time seems to becoming closer.

Europe and the US are losing touch with reality - they are not the rulers of the Balkans. They are dependent on a press that allows them to act - but by supporting the UDI of Kosovo the west have overstepped the mark - Serbia is right to react, and clear thinking people can see this. The west is hopeful of maintaining their policy, but the cracks are definitely showing.

Serbia is right to centre its policy on 1244 - the US and the EU are now the ones that are in the wrong.

obviously a lousy try to at least get a partition...

but, of course there can´t be any doubt about it, it´s all serbian territory, and the UNSC-resolution 1244 is confirming it.

some will have to learn that already made mistakes will be very expensive in the future...

if they do talk about partition already after only two-three months after that pseudo-declaration... we can look very confident into the future, since time is working for Serbia.

forget about, USA. there will be no deal.

Serbia will show you what the written word of international law really means...

Serbia should not agree on partition talks. The whole kosovo province belongs to serbia.Serbia should be patient as international law is on their side + the majority of states / countries around the world. NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES SERBIA SHOULD STAND UP AGAINST THE 40 COUNTRIES WHO ROBBED ITS PRECIOUS PROVINCE.

Is Ted thinking to devide Serbia as well by taking away Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja?
Or did he "forget" about it? What about deviding Macedonis? Did he think about that?
I found all these "talks" unrealistic and nonsense!
