After the elections, the message is clear. Serbia in the EU with Kosovo only. (ZK UK, 18 May 2008 22:19)

Until now Serbia is not in the EU - and the process for to join the EU will need at least 10 years until Serbia will be able to meet the conditions for a full membership. this means, it depends only on the capability of Serbia to become technically and physically fit enough for get a trikot as a player in successful team.

at the moment it is just watching the teams of the big players and dreaming for to be a hero. it will not work that way, I guess - even not with the money injection of Gazprom : ))

Slovenia's self-interest is clearly apparent in its continual overtures for Serbia to enter the EU. It is no secret that a highly regulated Serbian economy, which is a result of strict EU enforcement, will benefit Slovenian firms currently operating in Serbia as it will provide them with more certainty, than having to be at the mercy of Serbians themselves who have a vested interest in their own economy and livelihood.

I feel that Slovenia should drop its pretext of benevolence and just admit that it has huge economic interests in Serbia.

...Serbia is being given preferential treatment compared to other countries.
No doubt about that but that is how politics is....Let's see whether the Serbs will grab that opportunity or...continue blaming the other for their misfortunes!
