The Albanian comments about Vojvodina sound often funny. It looks like who comment on these never visited Vojvodina. It also appears, there is often nothing else behind the "sympathy" with Hungarians or "love" of America, just a blind hatred towards Serbs. This kind of "sympathy" or "love" is easy to see through and it's not appreciated. With that hatred it's of course a big question what EULEX or UNMIK can solve. Albanians have to solve the problem with their hatred inside of their skull.

lil, whether Serbia aligns itself east or west or both is not so important but what is now clear is that Serbia will protect its southern province.

When considering you comment about Russia and the Radicals, it sounds to me like you're stuck in the 90s. You need to move on as we're almost into 2010s.

Serbia and Russia are strong while the US is waning. It is just a matter of time before this Euro-Atlantic experiment fails.

Serbs can't make up their minds if they want to go 'west' or 'east' and you Serbs here have something to say about EUlex? If that's not the height of hipocrisy, I don't know what is. BTW, for Albanians, Bosniaks, Vojvodina etc, it would be a Godsend if Serbia got their radicals in power. Then, Serbia can kiss these other provinces goodbye forever!

And on Thursday (22nd May) the UN's 5th Committee convenes to discuss UNMIK funding for 2008-9.

Will they vote to cut funding altogther - as originally expected by the US/EU and Pristina authorities - and thus UNMIK leaves by the back-door handing the front-door keys to Thaci and Feith?

Or will they vote to reduce funding to a level that UNMIK just becomes window dressing to appease Russia et al?

Or will they maintain or increase funding as a statement of serious intent that the world does not recognise UDIs by separatist organisations?

Look closely at the sum approved. It will tell alot about the UN's intentions for the next 12 months.

The Pristina Daily Express. Big on speculation but always falls short on substance.

By the way, the unammed source is Thaci, if you haven't already worked that one out.

Everyone knows the EU INLEX (Lawless) mission has no UN mandate (just like the Ahtisaari plan they pretend still exists) and will never have one while UN SC resolution 1244 i.e. Serbia's soverignty and territorial integrity remains.

For the EU this is fast becoming a foreign policy farce but then when some choose to act outside of international laws ad under the dictat of 'Dumbya' what do they expect???

Oh what a tangle web we weave...
