SRS, DSS, SPS reach principle agreement on Belgrade

Tomorrow the Serbs may wake up in a quite another country with the DS in opposition ! It's a good chance for Russia to demonstrate what we can do for Serbia. Then one can compare it with 8 yers of bombings ,deceivings, blackmailing and twisting hands off. Then we can compare the investments to the Serbian economy. Then we can recall of the 5 bln euro promised to the late Dindic in exchange (barter) for the late Milosevic. Then we can also have a closer look at the Tribunal's crimes and the Russian way of privatisation ect.

Backwards, ZK, you meant backwards. Slowly but surely you'll work your way back to 1389...

The majority of Serbs are looking forward to DS being in opposition. And you summed up the EU support for Serbia right on!! (blackmail blackmail, then double standards, deceiving etc). Can you imagine they let the albanian murderer go free from the "hague?" Just when solana & co feel their puppets (DS) might lose power, they quickly provide Serbia with a carrot to provide false hopes to Serbian people. solana & co who were cheering the illegal bombing of Serbia.

ORTHODOX.RU, I'm with you on that one. I will have every confidence in an SRS/DSS/SPS government with stronger ties to Russia. Since I'm moving to Belgrade in August, I will be more than happy to do so under those conditions and to play my little part in helping the Serbian economy.

but in song contest times i was impressed of the nearly-spontanous and orchestred "winning" party of ds.

if they any time realy win any election in serbia, this would be (the end of serbia) and the singing-party of the century!!!

I highly doubt the US and EU will pass up the opportunity to invest in Serbia down the road. The only thing western companies care about is a profit. California's state government were investing part of their employees' pension plans in Iranian investments until they were critisized for it. John McCain's wife just sold off 2 million dollars of investments in the Sudan. Is Serbia worse than Iran and the Sudan? I think not.

When the country has been run deep, backward is an excellent manouvre to pull it out of it, and- it would also mean - forward!

I can imagine there is a bit of a conflict going on as to how to share the spoils.

Despite not believing that this group will be able to govern Belgrade or Serbia effectively I wish them good luck and hope to God that they prove me wrong.

I can't believe what many people are posting here. Seems like all reflecting Serbs post on the Serbian B92 site. How shall DSS and SRS ever bring Serbia ahead? By feeding people a martyr-narrative? No country can prosper in isolation. DSS and SRS will ruin the very last bit of Serbian economy and the level of illiterate children will even rise further! With DSS and SRS an old, corrupt elite is working for its own benefits, killing their own country! No equality. Do you really want to see Romania and Bulgaria prosper and overtake you by miles??? Yugoslavia used to be admired as the most developed and prosperous socialist country. Do you want to steal your children's future just because you know nothing about history and politics and turn Serbia into Europe's alms house for good?
I have hope. If it does not work out this time for Tadic, the democrats will gain absolute majority in the next election because literally everyone will be tremendously upset and outraged by how DSS and SRS have let their country down with reactionary, corrupt, hopeless Amselfeld politics.

Also what isolation are you talking about? Is China isolted? Is India Isolated. Is Russia isolated?
Two of those economies are the fasted growing economies and achieving it in "isolation".
