But hence all the reports of the return of the blood feuds as a means of settling scores (well, it's not as if the police actually do anything). Most of these cases generally go unreported.

The most notable cases are multiple political assassinations of members of Rugova's party, ordered by the usual suspects (1999+). It was quite one sided.

If it was an assissination attempt, then it is clearly aimed at 'redistributing' power, not that Ahmeti really understands the concept of democracy. In the last elections, he claimed that it was against the Ohrid Agreement that his party was not in government and quite worried the bureaucrats in Brussels and Washington.

The fact that the macedonian police were able to solve the atempted murder shows that they must have been prety close n the scene. An albanian civil war will help the macedonian nationalists supres the albanians even further.

@ comment 3; Denial is useless, only an Albanian nationalist could say such a thing! This is the fault of the EU and USA for giving the Albanians a free pass in regards to RESPONSIBILITY!!! Of course, we in the Balkans pay the price!

If that's true Ahmed, then it's bizarre that the Albanians are blaming one another and not the security forces.

I think you're making stuff up.

What a mess. Now the police have to deal with animosity from the Abanians as well as Albanian on Albanian violence. It's a wonder we don't just give the whole of the Balkans up to the Albos!
